Take the entire rogue planets/solar system rebellion arc, Ganymede never seems happy there, any time he's on the screen he always looks annoyed at best, if not outright pissed off, which i mean he doesn't appear a lot, but it still feels that he isn't exactly in the best state of mind

While you can put this onto the fact Ganymede's development had him become more serious, mind me that Ganymede still acts this way even in situations that looked like teasing

This particular scene is especially showing that as Io and Europa were laughing, over Ganymede's much serious attitude and mind me, unlike them we never saw Ganymede laughing over Callisto comment of "starting another revolution"

Or how he seemed so uncaring about them being forced to resque a million planets. Jupiter, Europa and Callisto are all sad, Io looks worried. Ganymede just stared with a pokerface

The only moment I can remember of Ganymede being genuinely happy was his reaction of proceeding with the revolution (and he technically wasn't happy with it in the beginning)

And even afterwards the first moment we saw him, Ganymede had returned to being serious and commanding

I deadass have written PAGES about this but I’m gonna shorten it

(THIS IS MY OPINION!) (also this is mainly pre- character development)

Mercury- Neptune : both are excluded and alone a lot and have a “therapist” kind of role

Venus- Uranus : insecure fucks 😭, bullied for their name, jealous of (Earth & Saturn), for their life and rings, have had antagonistic roles in different arcs (THERES SO MUCH I CAN SAY ABOUT THESE TWO😂.) and r also kinda mean (the kinda is for Uranus not Venus) to (Mercury & Neptune)

Earth- Saturn : this ones pretty surface level, they both are admired for their physical properties, believe they are better than others and are pretty full of themselves and come of rude to others despite not meaning to, and also have had name issues with their moons…

Mars- Jupiter : (they’re probably the only ones out of these paring that have an established relationship with each other) (and the most directly stated in the show) Mars is the more “mature” and “smart” one of the inner solar system and Jupiter of the outer, and are best friends with (Earth & Saturn)
