Ingredients: 2 cups of all-purpose flour. 1/2 cup of cornmeal. 1 packet 2 1/4 tsp of active dry yeast. 1 1/2 cups of warm water. 2 tbsp of olive oil. 1 tsp of sugar. 1/2 tsp of salt. 1 lb of ground Italian sausage. 1/2 cup of sliced pepperoni. 1 1/2 cups of shredded mozzarella cheese. 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese. 1 cup of pizza sauce. 1/2 cup of sliced black olives. 1/2 cup of sliced green bell peppers. 1/2 cup of sliced red onions. 1/2 cup of sliced mushrooms. 1/2 tsp of dried oregano. 1/2 tsp of dried basil. 1/4 tsp of garlic powder. 1/4 tsp of crushed red pepper flakes.
Instructions: In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, cornmeal, yeast, sugar, and salt. Add warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough forms. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes, or until it becomes smooth and elastic. Grease a deep-dish casserole dish and press the pizza dough evenly into the bottom and up the sides. Brown the ground Italian sausage in a skillet over medium heat. Drain excess fat and set aside. Preheat your oven to 425F 220C. Layer the cooked sausage, sliced pepperoni, mozzarella cheese, Parmesan cheese, pizza sauce, black olives, green bell peppers, red onions, and mushrooms over the pizza dough. Sprinkle dried oregano, dried basil, garlic powder, and crushed red pepper flakes on top for extra flavor. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing and serving.
