Vintage Smile

I think my biggest current crises is that I want to belong to someone but I also don’t. It’s amazing to share my life with someone and get to know I’m loving and am loved in return. But at the same time there’s this weird nagging for the life I led when I was 17 and restless, when responsibilities didn’t exist and chasing boys was more of a game than a commitment. I forgot how much I enjoyed things like that, games with boys who thought you didn’t know you were playing. 

I wouldn’t go back to that, when I think about it. It was like trying to play games with people who only hung out with you because you were the top hat in monopoly, when you got sent to jail you weren’t worth bothering with as long as the car was still in the mix you know? It didn’t matter who played, they just wanted someone to amuse themselves with.
