Gears of War movie a go! Being written and financed by EPIC

Prepare to see big men in even bigger armor in the big screen as it seems that the Gears of War movie project is back in full swing. Producer Scott Stuber has signed on with the project. Stuber is known for multiple big budget films, including the recent action film Battleship and the comedy Ted. At this time no writers or distributors have been attached to the project, however Stuber has announced he will work with his own studio Bluegrass Films, with Epic Games developing the script and financing the movie. So are video game movies going to become the new comic book flick? With Assassin’s Creed and Uncharted in the works, we may just have a video game flick renaissance.
