I haven't posted in awhile but who's kidding...I don't post bc I can't remember the last time I wrote a personal journal entry and it wasn't public. So why now? I need to get some shit off my chest about life. My life isn't the worst but it's been very stressful lately. As of now, I wonder what the f is school other than bragging rights and first dibs at an interview for some blue collared job. I go through all of this stress just for a piece of paper that will get me no where bc I'm so lucky to have the option of grad school bc the job markets are trashed bc of a never ending spiral of a poor economy. I come out the pocket on tuition, books, and school supplies that's the equivalent of a 3 bedroom, one story house with a garage, a 2003 Honda civic, and a small lucrative business. Hell, if I had a savings plan the same as the payment plan of a university I would be a mini Magic Johnson without the disease (no disrespect). I'm just saying, is college that important?? Do we really learn shit past high school? Really? My first two years are like repeat of shit from high school but on a harder grading scale. Then, u get to your major classes, and they want to cram things in your brain that's suppose to help you in your career. Uhmmm...no no! Maybe if somebody will come up with a better system than the bullshit we are dealt then maybe I can accept that I'm not completely wasting four years and a shit load of loans that nine times of ten won't get me a post-graduate job to help pay off at least 35% of it! So if your part of the board of education or know somebody who has some involvement in the department can you please relay this message... TELL THEM TO KISS MY ASS!!!!
