Had good experiences with variants on everyman sort of schedules, and with have 10 hour shifts at work MWF that might be what works best still kind of working on it though. I’ll post a thing once I brainstorm a sleep schedule that works for all days of the week though and HOPEFULLY ITS CONSISTENT?

Desperate times come with some pretty desperate measures. Basically, we got hired on as a temp at the same place that we’ve been at for four years, which to a lot of peeps would be great. Don’t get us wrong, we’re glad to have the money. But... research isn’t my thing, it’s Geno’s thing. I just want to do art, and to be honest, we’re both pretty sick of the rat race we’re stuck in. Plugging away 40 hours of our life every week on a job that I hate, and research that Geno isn’t passionate about is pretty soul-sucking. That, and I’m literally stuck in an environment with a mentor who I’ve realized was, unintentionally or not, kind of abusive to me. That, and there’s someone else in the same workplace who was also abusive. Though we don’t directly work with these peeps anymore, we still have to see them every day, and in the case of my mentor, staying in this career means she will follow us for the rest of our life. That is fucking terrifying. I have PTSD reactions around both of these people, and it isn’t healthy for me to stick around. Especially since my mentor constantly talks to me and calls me her “pawn” and continues to try to manipulate me. Like uh, NO THANK YOU I DIDNT FUCKING ORDER ANY OF THIS. I have 87 days to find a way out, because after that point it becomes significantly more difficult to leave because of political work stuff. So, desperate times, desperate measures. With all that on our mind, our best chance for an escape button is going back to polyphasic sleeping, and putting in as much time as possible on my T-shirt stores and hoping that I can start making a living (or better??) off of T-shirts and our other side hustles. We need to get the fuck out of our current career, and escape the people who have treated us like shit.
