alex wasn't going to lie, she was a little surprised to see that tabitha had actually decided to come, because she knew that she really wasn't one for parties, but she was also pretty happy about it too, because she’d take any chance she got to be able to hang out with her. tilting her head to the side, her eyebrows began to raise upwards curiously, her lips then curling into a soft smile as she noticed the way the other's cheeks gained more colour in them. gosh, why did this girl have to be so darn cute? it wasn't fair. "is that so?" a laugh fell into the space between them. "oh, you shouldn't have just told me that secret," the smirk started to slowly return "because now i won't beg anymore," alex teased back. "well, these things aren't all that bad, but here, i'll make you a deal alright? if you give this a chance for an hour and you're still not actually having any fun then we can leave and go do something else. sound good?"

"then sorry, babe, you're out of luck. they don't have any of that here,” she didn't miss a beat. "though my poison is currently jd with a shot of tequila on the side."

Did Alex have a thing for Jen? Absolutely. Was she willing to admit to it anytime soon? Definitely not. It was only because she was keeping her band's best interest at heart. If feelings weren't actually returned, then things would get awkward or if they did end up together but then broke up, it would make things incredibly tense, all in which wouldn't be beneficial for the positive relationship needed.
