◆ STEPHEN STRANGE ! ▸ @ofthetimestone
levitating with her legs crossed, heels having been discarded on the floor. they were pretty, but tended to get in the way from time to time, and loki usually preferred to not get poked in the thigh with a heel. a cup of tea in her hands, she sipped at it as her eyes drifted around the room, taking in the scenery and other objects around them. “mm. this is far better than the tea i had earlier. what kind is it?” she raised a brow, turning her attention to stephen.
“perhaps you aren’t so bad after all,” she hummed, a small smirk tugging at the corners of her mouth. “and i do apologize for attempting to attack you the last time we met. i was on edge and reacted impulsively.” she didn’t usually apologize, and if she did it tended to be a lie, but this time she was being, at least somewhat, genuine. “a lot has happened since 2012. i’ve changed. i hope people may begin to see that.”
“hojicha, a japanese green tea, quite tasty and calming for myself, personally.“ he tuned his gaze towards her and smiled, “i’m glad to see i’ve got a norse god’s approval.“ he paused and let out a small laugh, “i’m sure the japanese would be happy as well.“ he gave it some thought, lingering his gaze for a moment and then meeting loki’s eye. “thank you, i try quite hard to not be terrible at everything, i’m glad a mutual respect and like is developing here.”
he flashed loki a quick, but earnest smile before inclining his head. “i dropped you into an alternate dimension and forced you into suspension for thirty minutes, you had every reason to want to attack me.” he stated, waving a hand before using his magic to refill loki’s tea cup. he gave her next sentence some thought before taking a sip of his own tea and nodding, frowning into his cup. “it’s hard for most people to see beyond their own noses, loki - even i had that problem when i was a neurosurgeon.” he paused and looked over to her, “but if it helps, i have no issues with you and i quite enjoy your company.”
