The Old Guard

“Or what?” He said, getting slightly closer, raising an eyebrow. He doesn’t look threatening, and though he does look irritating, he gives a more formidable air than the stupid boy with too much money he was playing to be seconds ago. A moment later he takes a step back, and with careful body language, he looks like an annoying fool.

He likes walking that line too much really, between instigator and minor nuisanse. It’s a good way to figure out who he is going to face, but also incredibly entertaining. He judges the man’s body, the life story he can see in his face, as well as his reactions.

But externally, he looks at his martini, and starts drinking it like nothing happened.

      “Or I’ll ram your stupid cup down your throat.” Guard couldn’t remember the last time he’d felt legitimately threatened by anyone. James certainly comes across more like an annoyance than anything else.

      Guard himself looks more like a grumpy old man than a typical bodyguard, but Bond is probably smart enough not to underestimate based on something like that. Especially since Guard’s eyes look like someone who means business.
