“yeah, i got that bit,” lorna said, eyebrows raised. it wasn’t like she was sunshine, daisies and all magical thoughts on the best of days, but right now? yeah, right now, she was particularly annoyed. best not to take it out on random strangers. “what are you reading that’s so distracting, anyway?”

On her way home from her classes, a brightness was captured in her features, the same grateful nature present in her at the fact she could continue her education to such high standards here. Step light as each pressed against the ground, she was startled to have another nearly bump into her, managing to dodge out of the way in time with a breathless laugh. “It’s quite alright, we all have our moments” She reassured the brunette, a small nod in reassurance. “An especially understandable action when one is reading- Anything you’d recommend?”.

she was already having a bad day, her powers going haywire and her head pounding. so when someone almost knocked into her, lorna snapped even worse than she usually did. “watch where you’re going,” she shot back, disgruntled in the extreme. weren’t people supposed to be careful around pregnant women or some crap like that? “if you want to read, find a library or something.”

“i see” he frowned “i do not get it how some people can love books" he shook his head “it’s so fucking boring. especially school books. i thought about to burn up all the books there” he joked about it. nick wouldn’t dare to burn up the books at the college. he knew he would get into trouble then “what are you reading?”

One thing that had never changed with Belle was her love of books and reading… a little too often. She couldn’t help it when she got pulled into a new one and quite literally couldn’t put it down, occasionally walking along sidewalks on her way to and from the library with her nose stuck in her title of the week. She gasped when she felt a body clip her in the side, glancing up and waving the girl off with a smile, “No no, I wasn’t looking either,” she said easily, “what are you reading?”

nick began to chew on the inside of his cheek after someone nearly knocked into him “yeah, you should not have your eyes in a book when you’re wandering around” he commented and glared at the girl “why are you not sitting down and read the book? you can hurt yourself and others”

“ARE YOU reading while walking ??” actually quite giddy to see someone with a book. usually, people were glued to their phones. smile danced across her lips, “what are you reading if you don’t mind me asking ??”

“Carriages?” he asked incredulously. “What piece of medieval left-overs did you come from?”

Donna had been wandering through the town – bag in hand, trying to decide whatever she should visit next. It wasn’t every day that one got a few days off work and she was determined to make the most out of it.. no matter what it took. And so, she had been so lost in thoughts about everything – including everyone who had ended up in this town as well… that she didn’t notice she was about to bump into someone, right until she and the girl were inches away from each other. “ No, no, sweetheart – don’t worry about it, it was completely my fault. “ She said. 

An eyebrow raised dubiously. Very close. Something was off here. He didn’t have a clue who she was and yet she was claiming to know him? He cursed himself for being on his own. “Were we now?” He hummed. Adam didn’t believe her, that was for certain. Had she worked at the embassy? “Did we go to university together?” Perhaps not - she looked younger than him, but if was worth a go to walk through some options before turning to less savoury ones. 

“Watch it.” The Agent shook her head, eyes narrowed as her concentration was broken by the girl.
