God, he can’t stand how awkward this is. He curses himself under his breath and stands up, shoving his hands in his pockets. “I think I should go…” His heart is also heavy, and he’s feeling anxious. “I can only hope I will… I need to go think and… try to figure out what’s wrong.” Antonio has an idea but bites his tongue. He’ll not tell Francis what he’s thinking. “I’m sorry again, Francis. I’ll send something… to make up for this.”

Francis feels his heart sinking more and more the longer this goes on--the more Antonio says. Did he do something wrong? He never does anything wrong... What is this disgusting feeling of doubt growing inside his chest...? The blonde lowers his head a but, reaching up to rub at the back of his neck. "You do not... Have to go. We could just relax... But--" he was quick to stop his train of thought, not wanting the other to feel obligated. "It... It is fine. If you want to go, that... That is fine too." It felt... Bad. These problems in modern day really only showed up after they admitted their love... Hadn't they?
