A♦️ - what is the most important message your muse has ever received?

                 "DO NO HARM, BUT TAKE NO SHIT” advice from her father, now it was probably more eloquent but the principle still stands, being compassionate, kind and caring doesn’t mean that you roll over for everyone or anyone. it’s basically living by the “don’t confuse my kindness for weakness, i’ll choke you with the same hand i fed you with” philosophy, and aria has lived by it her entire life, her first instinct will always be to be kind but once someone does something to change it then she will 100% turn their world upside down and her vindictive side comes to play.  the other is that she is enough, her parents have done one hell of a job at making her feel loved, in most people’s opinion they probably did too good of a job, as her confidence in herself is sky high and she can come across as rather arrogant at certain times, which just stems from the fact that she’s been overly loved, something that she doesn’t think exists (no one said she was self aware lol) but yes basically just being herself should be enough for people, and that she should always look to be respected if she can’t be loved.

2♦️ - how important is money to your muse?

                SHE APPRECIATES THE FINER THINGS in life, she like any girl her age is passionate about designers, luxury bags, jewelry and given who she is she’s had it in abundance and she’s grown up with it, which makes her very used to it’s presence in her life. so much so that she really doesn’t think about it, she doesn’t think about what things cost and has been known to give away things she’s wearing to staff or people she runs into in the village when they compliment it, as she just knows that she’ll get another without even asking. that said, she would like to think that if she were just a regular person that she could live that way and happily too, so money isn’t something she values, even if she knows that it’s useful.

4♠️ - what’s the worst injury your muse has ever recovered from?

             SHE’S STILL WORKING ON RECOVERING from her kidnapping, but it’s more of an emotional journey than anything physical even if she does have physical reminders of that very dark period in her life (most of them present on her left arm, where she has several scars.. because you know torture and the like) a lot of what she’s struggling with is just reconciling the fact that she went through it and that despite how good a person someone is, bad things still happen etc.. she’s just having a crisis really. and the only other thing would be heart surgery, when she was a baby she had a heart condition which was solved by medical intervention and she’s been healthy ever since, but the scar is still visible on her chest, when she doesn’t cover it, with make up.

A♣️ - what’s your muse’s strongest talent?

                SHE’S A PROLIFIC PUBLIC SPEAKER, she’s always been able to easily charm crowds into listening to what she has to say, which is why she believes in the power of words and negotiation as opposed to brute force ( in most cases, the rebels would be the exception to that belief after what they did to her ) so writing and designing speeches is something that comes very naturally to her she’s often written a few of the speeches her father has delivered, even gives the king of norway pointers from time to time. she has many hobbies too, some that have given her some world wide recognition like her riding, she’s an equestrian champion or at least she was as she hasn’t ridden a horse since she’s been rescued and she doesn’t think that she will ever again.

6♥️ - what sort of charity work has your muse done?

              MUCH OF HER CHARITY WORK CENTERS on children, especially girls and she’s been responsible for founding and financially supporting many orphanages in her country, as well as setting up schools and pushing education reform. an outspoken feminist, she really believes in empowering young women, to be leaders, creatives and anything they want to be. she’s a unicef ambassador and she’s given several world wide conferences for their campaigns, she’s also founded animal charities as she has a soft spot for them and while she doesn’t push the vegan life style as she knows that being a royal figurehead means that she shouldn’t show bias towards any sort of “political” cause she does privately donate and that’s the case for many of the things she does, while she does know that the photo ops come with the job, you know the naming of hospital wings, cutting ribbons for them etc.. she likes her charity work to be kept private, because she does it out of genuine care and not to help her image in any sort of way, not that she really needs it, her image after all is pristine and as such “damage” control has never been something that’s really been brought up where she’s concerned. passionate about the arts, she’s a patron to several theater houses and she has been responsible for helping artists make it big, by showing interest in their work etc.

3♦️ - how does your muse handle indecision?

            WITH IMAGINATION, ARIA IS the sort of person who’ll give her problems creative names or make creative metaphors in an attempt to solve them and being stuck between several choices is no different, a consequence of her mother encouraging her imagination from a very young age. she does however stress easily, as she tends to be an over thinker, most things will eat away at her for weeks and sometimes months up until she drives herself almost crazy and needs to ask someone for advice and that someone is usually cami ( @camillaxjohansen )

The bottle of wine Katrien had received as a birthday gift from Aria had been sitting untouched for quite some time now. She hadn’t been sure what to make of it- the gesture, coming from Arianna, had been… unexpected, to say the least. And though she’d (very briefly) considered Aria’s suggestion of dumping it on Matthias, and, more recently, just drinking it straight from the bottle alone in her room, ultimately she’d decided to save it, to share it with Aria when an occasion arose. 

And… here it was, a good occasion as any- Katrien was newly betrothed, after all. It was an occasion that, back home, probably would’ve been marked with a party, but she didn’t much feel like celebrating. When she and Aria were young they’d both dreamed of their futures, heads full of idealized versions of romance and marriage courtesy of storybooks and Disney movies. So, surely, she could talk to Arianna about it, surely Aria would understand Kat’s frustration. 

She’d asked a maid to bring her two glasses, and with them somewhat precariously in one hand and the bottle in the other, she went to Aria’s room and knocked on the door. “Hi,” she said, somewhat shy now that she was actually here. “It’s a beautiful day, I thought it might be nice to have some wine in the gardens, but day drinking alone is usually frowned upon, so… Want to join me?” she asked, bracing herself for rejection. It was an extension of an olive branch, the biggest gesture of goodwill to come from her since Arianna’s arrival in Russia, and she wasn’t sure how the Norwegian princess would react. “We can go back to hating each other afterwards,” she joked with a small smile. 

               SLEEPING IN WASN’T SOMETHING the norwegian princess did often but add to that her recent troubles with staying asleep and that had turned into an almost ‘ never ‘ sort of situation  — but she’d been having a great few nights, a fact that she could only credit to recent events, she’d had a very successful date and she was looking forward to doing it again. she’d woken up about two hours ago, having been slow with getting ready, aria decided that she’d rather stay in her room and do some reading or at least she would have, had she not heard the knock at her door, pushing herself out of bed, the princess tussled her messy braid a bit, before she walked the distance to open it. her mouth hung open in slight surprise as blue eyes came into contact with the person who was standing in front of her. 

" i wasn’t AWARE you knew where my room was. “ the comment flew out of her mouth, before she really had time to reel it in, snappy just seemed to be their new normal  — that even with the pretense of civility, both girls seemed to have some snark ready for the other. her attention did linger on the bottle and glass that were in katrien’s hand and despite her best efforts a small smile did form on her features. “ well, i can’t LET you be judged all by your lonesome.” she replied with a light roll of her shoulders, but she paused. “ but just to be sure, you do know that it’s ARIANNA, you’re talking to right? “ she questioned with a cautious tilt of her chin, before she laughed.

William chuckled at the innocent expression on her features and he shook his head. “On the contrary, I don’t think it’s exciting when you do and I quite enjoy having my own.” He informed her before he leaned in to kiss her scrunched nose. “Not so much fun when I’m the one keeping secrets is it?” He teased as he pulled back to smile at her. It was good to see Arianna relaxed like this and not feeling as though she needed to act in such a proper manor. The time he had spent with her had paid off to see her in such a comfortable state. He had to admit that there was a part of him that realized she wasn’t quite like what he had expected of royals. But he also wondered if that was just because of the circumstances, after all he knew royals could be charming when need be. 

He was easily distracted by Arianna even though there was a part of his brain that told him he needed to be more careful out in public. Of course there were really only a few he would rather not catch him like this, and what were the chances they’d see him? Finally he pulled away, his brain once more trying to take control even as the look on her face made him want to kiss her again. He smiled and his hand came up to lift her chin and he smiled at her, leaning in for one more brief kiss before letting go. “Well I could certainly say the same about you, you’re just as distracting, especially in this outfit.” He assured her, squeezing her hand briefly. “Well in that case, please lead the way my lady. I’d like to know what you have planned for the two of us.” 

                 A LAUGH SLIPPED PAST HER lips, as he turned her words around, and she shook her head a warm smile on her features as he kissed her nose, which in turn made her bump his in a light graze, before she pulled back. “ seems like a very UNFAIR advantage if you ask me. “ she playfully accused, blue eyes remained glued on him, practically looking at him like he’d hung the moon  — and by all accounts he had, everything the man seemed to do, just managed to pull her further in and she still wasn’t even sure what that would mean in the long run. all she knew was that she felt happy, light, like she hadn’t in a very long time and that was thanks to him. “ but i suppose we’ll just have to COMPROMISE. “ she proposed with a light nod. “ i’m quite a good negotiator, i’ll have you know. “ she joked, another laugh leaving her lips, as she held on to his hand. 

She looked like she wanted to cry and Amir felt like he would any second now. He didn’t even know her name but with one look this woman had left him feeling entirely gutted. There was something else there, though. A small  thought, barely a tickle in the back of his mind. They’d never officially met, but it felt like he knew her better than almost anyone here and perhaps it would be wrong to not learn the name of the woman who constantly appeared in his nightmares.  “Please…don’t do that,” he said softly, swallowing hard. “I’ve spent two years doing that and it hasn’t worked…”

4♥️ - what are your muse’s thoughts on starting/raising a family?

               SHE’S NOT ENTIRELY SURE, as a future queen, she understands that children come with the job description, she’s expected to produce an heir however she can’t but wonder if she’ll even want to. after all the chances of falling in love with a husband picked out from what she basically deems a royal catalog are slim to none, so how could she possibly want to have a child with someone she’ll probably only tolerate? yes, she’s aware of how it worked out with her parents and once upon a time she believed that it would happen for her as well, but growing up comes with a cynical side and this has been one part of area that’s grown rather bitter.

9♥️ - has your muse ever had unrequited feelings for someone?

             NO, BECAUSE SHE WOULDN’T call her feelings for tegan ( @teganbrb ) unrequited, it’s more of a case of ‘ right person, wrong time ‘ and her growing feelings for william ( @william-ferguson ) seem to be reciprocated as well so she’s really never known rejection in that way, outside of her fantasies about marrying mr. bingley from pride and prejudice that is.

K♥️ - who does your muse look up to as a role model?

          SHE HAS ALWAYS LOOKED UP to her parents the most, her father most of all, so much so that it could be considered a flaw as she considers the man to be basically perfect, a perfect husband, a beloved ruler, it’s everything she wants to be and she’ll rarely if ever see his mistakes which is where the problem may lie. her mother, has shown her to be compassionate and kind and the person who’s most responsible for her belief in unconditional love. her parents are the center of her world and it’s the very reason why she strives to be perfect, she wants to make them proud more than anything else in the world.

9♠️ - has your muse ever felt forced to change?

           NO, SHE’S ALWAYS BEEN the picture perfect princess and she’s done everything right so why change? she’s praised and beloved in her home country and the media has always given her rave reviews, so she takes it as another sign of “keep doing, what your doing”

7♦️ - when was your muse the most down on their luck?

           HER KIDNAPPING IS THE ONLY moment that will come to her mind, it has been the most horrible experience of her life and while she’s pushed the consequences and aftermath of that as far down as she possibly can, she is battling a lot of inner demons because of it, and she’s slowly starting to realize that keeping everything she went through in a neat little box in the back of her head is going to hurt no one outside of herself. she really just needs one little push to explode and she’s afraid of that, not being perfect is a nightmare of hers and the worst thing that could possibly happen to her, which often makes her forget that shes human.
