Activity will be low because of work. I work 5 days, 8-4/10-6 in the mornings so activity will be sporadic. Rest assured I will always get to our threads if you don't mind the wait! As long as we're having fun and communicating, it's all I can ask for on here.

the almost leap.

You stand at the edge of change more than anyone knows. You plan, you hope, you crave the shift — and then you pause. Doubt creeps in. The what-ifs get louder. And you tell yourself: Not yet. Not this time. Maybe later. You self-sabotage in ways that feel rational: delaying decisions, waiting for the "right moment," convincing yourself you’re just being cautious. But really, you fear what the leap might take from you. Or worse — what it might reveal.

"Eh? Seriously? I guess you got some dormant genes going on or something, kinda neat..." The thought really was interesting. But aside from that? What kind of answer could she even give him about this? For once she didn't seem embarrassed by the topic but, there was a different air about her.

"If I had to guess? Maybe? They'd still look like one of us at least, but I imagine my genes are more dominant, appearance wise. Considering you're half demon, half human...I'm also a demon. Cat, Ice demon at that...so it'd be an interesting mix of a litter for sure." Truly, what a hilariously, oh so bitter sweet thought it was. She knew inevitably where this conversation would eventually go, but he didn't need to know the whole truth, no, not at the moment.

"You said WHAT!?" Color her absolutely embarrassed and off guard. So much so, she's accidently dropped her fork, which of course is a big deal for a glutton like Yuko. "W-Why would you say that!? I mean just cause we spend a lot of time together...and kiss..." The demon rubs the back of her head. "..But still! You haven't even taken me on a proper date either! I mean sure you feed me and stuff...b-but that's different!" She slams a hand and gets up from her seat, rather dramatically, all whist point a finger at him. "Have you no shame, toying with a woman's heart!?" And the oscar for most dramatic at a dinner table goes to...!

Takes a sip of whiskey, sighs. "You know, It's been a long time but..."
