☆━ “i’m appalled with myself,” josie chuckled, furthering the joke. “i just read somewhere that i’m sleeping with my dog walker. how dare i cheat on steffan with jean-claude! -- don’t those people have anything better to do with their lives than make up lies?” she asked, turning and peeking over at the magazine scotty was flipping through.

CHLOE: like i know all i gotta do is drive a ways outside of los angeles but it was so nice to just be in my back yard and look up and you could basically see the milkyway. i miss that :/

JOSIE: honestly i feel like you wouldve loved tallahassee. busy enough to where you dont feel like youre secluded, but quiet in all the right places so you can fall in love with the sky

although lily was not known best for charity or volunteer work – why, that didn’t mean she didn’t still do anything. she had enough money to donate to any cause, although she’d made the mistake of donating to red cross before the news came out, she had the ability to open ‘centers’, but rarely did she get as hands-on as she would be today. there now, standing beside josie and looking down at the dogs, she replied, “ you think they’ve got a limit on how many you can adopt at once ?? ” her dog would hate it.

☆━ josie crouched down and petted one of the pups that ran up to her. they had fluffy golden hair and the sweetest brown eyes with a panting tongue that only the most excited little dog would flaunt. “you are just so cute,” she cooed, rubbing the animal’s head. “sadly, i’m pretty sure it’s one,” she answered back to lily. getting back to a full standing position, she looked around to see if there was a kennel technician or any staff member who would be leading their service today. finally, one entered the threshold, toting cleaning supplies in their hands. “y’know, i’ve cleaned up after dogs, but never this many in one place. i’m starting to feel like that guy from that show dirty jobs.”

He took a moment to think about every last thing that had kept him up at night for the last few weeks, scanning for something that might warrant some asshole to key his brand new bike. considering the fact that he’d tried to lay low, he couldn’t quite come up with any real, concrete reason. “honestly, i really don’t know,” he mused aloud, running a hand through his hair. “funny thing is, i’ve even tried to keep a low profile lately as to not piss anyone off, but who knows. maybe this –” he pointed to the scratch on his bike, “–has been a long time coming. in which case, it could be a load of things. or it’s just an asshole who’s trying to find happiness and peace keying up people’s bikes, the hell if i know.”

☆━ josie looked at the key markings again, it was roughed up but it wasn’t major vandalism either--she’d seen and done worse. “well,” the blonde started, taking one more tilted glance at the scratch. “as awful as it sounds, it’s done now. it also shouldn’t be hell to fix. but if you really want to make this a big thing, there’s security cameras on the light posts so you could turn this into a legal thing.”

☆━ josie had somewhat made a name for herself as an advocate in the hollywood hills. from human rights to women’s rights, it was nothing strange when she added animal shelters to her list. NKLA was a favorite of hers, they’d rescued countless animals and helped place them in forever-homes, so donating some of her time and anything else was the least she could do. reaching out to a fellow advocate and arguably far more famous pal, jo gave lily a call and now they were both standing in the puppy kennels. “this might have been a bad idea, ‘cause now i just wanna adopt all these dogs.”

“I feel like it was a pretty successful night,” the dark-haired boy said to the other sitting across the Starbucks table. “I mean, I flashed the guy at the liquor store for two free T-shirts and a giant Redbull.” Danny took a sip of his iced vanilla bean coconutmilk shaken latte. “Oh, you’re welcome by the way,” he pointed out as he swallowed his sip.

☆━ grande iced caramel macchiatto, it was what she always ordered and probably would never change. she stirred the cup around, watching the flavors mix as she listened to danny. “if we’re not splitting the redbull then what’s the point of this story,” josie teased.

The sight of his brand-new ( well, three-week old ) bmw motorcycle with a chiseled line across one of the metal plates instantly shot harvey’s mood from its already valleyed state to a depth of disappointment he seldom felt. “fucker,” he whispered under his breath, his fingers gliding over the damaged section of his vehicle. “who the fuck even thinks keying cars and shit is funny these days?” he chuckled, trying to laugh off the pain he was clearly suffering.

☆━ josie looked at the boy, the disgruntled look on his face was one she understood well. she loved her mustang almost more than she loved her bandmates. arms crossed over her midriff, she shrugged though it was evident that the other was too occupied with his motorcycle to see her. “it wasn’t me, and i didn’t see them, but i’ve gotta ask,” she started. “have you done anything to deserve it?”

          zan never had this much alcohol in her blood stream in her life. and although she tried her hardest not to seem like a lightweight, that was exactly what she was, and it showed. the female was damn near passed out when she saw the other, a huge, dorky grin on her face as she greeted them. “ hiiiiiii. ” she drew out the vowel obnoxiously long, but she clearly hadn’t noticed (or cared). “ oh my gosh, are you having so much fun ?? I’M having so much fun. this is so much fun. ”

jo had already had a couple of drinks. nothing too strong, but she was feeling the buzz when she heard the familiar ring of zan’s voice near her. josie welcome her bandmate into her arms, unable to wipe the stupid grin from her face when she realized that zan was shitfaced. “yeah, i’m having a lot of fun. since i haven’t seen chloe, i’m gonna play the mom-friend here and ask, how much have you had to drink, zanny-wanny?” 

         ‘ i have no idea what’s in this, ‘ georgia said between sips of her drink, ‘ but it tastes fucking incredible. ‘ or maybe she was just so drunk that anything would’ve tasted good to her. she’d started drinking practically the second she walked in, and the longer the night went on, the more inclined she was to get completely wasted. 

“as long as it isn’t wine, i’m sure it tastes fan-fucking-tastic,” josie stated matter-of-factly. it was evident she’d already had more than a couple of drinks for the night and would more than likely need a driver to take her home.

JOSIE BRINGS THE CAKE TO THE PARTY

Ethereal’s Josephine ‘Josie’ Pryor showed off her killer curves in a skin tight latex ensemble as she arrived at the album release event for Afterparty’s latest, ‘Tell It All’. With no speculation that she would not be in attendance, it was expected that she’d serve us a look this evening. Josie has been supportive of Afterparty in the past, and her fellow bandmate Chloe Evans has a very public and very close friendship with both Chris Kelley and Mimi Vang. But with all of the fawning Josie does over Rose Quartz’s Jett Blackwell, we have to stop and wonder if the battle of the bands could cause a schism in Ethereal.
