i think structurally reddit makes sense as a place that would attract rich people because on reddit it’s easier to avoid any and all challenges to your own worldview and socio-economic position. Like on reddit you can theoretically spend all your time in subreddits that are (either implicitly or explicitly) dedicated to people from your own socio-economic position.
