Dreaming as the day goes by

"Snacks, or course!" He stated as a matter of fact. "Just because we’re planning dinner doesn’t mean you don’t want something to snack on."

"Oh! But of course. How could I ever have forgotten snacks." She laughed. He did make a point though, by the time she usually cooked she was starving... or maybe she was just getting used to Benny's logic.

Kyle tries not to visibly preen too much at Sarah’s laughter - because it doesn’t sound like she’s laughing at Timothy, but rather, with him, and that’s honestly some of the best praise he’s ever not officially gotten from someone. “Like I said, he likes to go off on his own a lot when I’m not looking. People get annoyed when he buzzes past, because he’s just this small silver-and-green blur that you don’t see until he’s zooming right by. He’s even scared me a couple of times, but obviously I don’t take a swing at him for it.” He smiles slightly, plucking Timothy out of the air and cradling him in his arm. There’s minimum protest from the little guy. “Careful there, those are dangerous words. You say he’s your friend, and next thing you know, you’ll be the one he sneaks up on when you least expect it.”

"I suppose that could be a bit of a bother, if you weren't expecting. Though, swatting seems like a dangerous solution to being startled. I suppose, with my uncle and his cat both I'm used to things jumping at me when I'm not aware." She laughed, though the cat was lazy more often than not, it still managed to startled Sarah should it want to. She watched as Kyle picked up Timothy, surprised that he could manage to catch him the way he was zipping about. Though, she supposed. He must have plenty of practice with catching him. "Oh, I don't mind. He's too cute to get angry at I must say." She laughed reaching out she petted the little frog on the head gently.

You’re not suppose to do a lot of things, but I do them anyway. 

I'm bored.

"I don't think you're suppose to ask to crash a party~"

He was proud of the way his little Sarah had turned out to be: level-headed like her mother, but always the eager and cultural advocate like her uncle. “That’s the spirit! I’ll look into some of the old books and see if we can’t make something that’ll knock Ollie’s socks off!”

"Anything is better than her cooking..." She laughed a bit. "So I don't think that'd take much. But I'm up for learning anything! I'm actually quite sick of tv dinners and canned foods. If I never have to taste that microwaved chicken or what have you , again. It'll be too soon!" She laughed, she wasn't much of a cook. "Start off simple though, don't bring over some 6 course meal." She laughed, she knew to learn properly she'd have to start small and work up.

Kyle chuckles and clasps his hands behind his back, eyes crinkling with amusement as Sarah greets Timothy and introduces herself to him. He decides right then that he definitely likes her; not many people would play along, but she is, and it’s nice for one less person to think he’s unhinged for talking to a stuffed frog in a craft and taking it seriously. Timothy lights up and zips around Sarah, and Kyle grins. “Yeah, he definitely likes you, if you couldn’t already tell. Sometimes people swat at him, but you’re one of the few who actually talk to him.”

A joyful giggle sounded from Sarah as the little frog zipped around her, she watched him, turning a bit to keep an eye on him as best as she could, he was hard to follow however and she ended up just laughing before turning her eyes back to Kyle. "Well I quite like him too." She nodded but her brows furrowed in displeasure as he mentioned the next bit. "Swat at him? Why would anyone do that? I find making friends usually works best to converse rather than swat at someone." She grinned to him, no swatting at people didn't seem like a good way to greet anyone at all.

"I hope so. He’s pretty sentient for just being a stuffed frog in a hovercraft - I have high hopes for the little guy, anyway," Kyle chuckles, waving over the flash of silver and green in the distance. Sure enough, a minute later Timothy is buzzing around and between them. "Here he is. He’s pretty small, see? Easy to lose. He likes to toy with the GPS to throw me off so I can’t use it to track him down until I see him. He came over because he probably wants to meet you. He ribbits, you know. He likes to flash his lights, too."

Sarah looked at the little frog in the hovercraft, grinning at Timothy. "Aw he's quite cute!" She commented to Kyle before turning her attention to the frog. "Hello there Timothy." She greeted with a little laugh, glancing back to his owner once against she spoke. "Pretty fancy little hover craft for a stuffed frog. I don't even have a vehicle that cool." Then again, she didn't really drive much anyway, she could just walk almost anywhere in town. That was one of the advantages of living in Storybrooke.

"A tad." He commented. "But for some reason I just prefer them over dogs. I know people mention that dogs are more loving and attentive, but… it’s like I can tell when Chessie’s trying to get something across. He’s got more style." He smiled.

"Well that's why I like them. Dogs just obey and though they're sweet I do think I prefer cats. The independence is a plus. Of course, they do have quite a bit more style than a dog!" She laughed, definitely. "That hardly takes much though..."

"For sure. He usually only has to share me with my mom and my friend Leon, but ever since I started making similar hovercrafts to his for Shannon’s pets - by the way, Shannon’s the fortune teller, and she owns an herb shop in town - he’s gone missing a lot more than usual. Probably because I don’t keep an eye on him 24/7 anymore, but that’s what the GPS is for," Kyle explains, well aware of the fact he probably sounds like a whack job with just his mom and the one friend. There’s Morgan, but then again she’s not been around much lately either. “He knows he’s the only frog in a hovercraft for me - or he should. He’s my greatest invention, and a pretty great friend. For a stuffed animal, anyway. Hey -" Kyle’s head snaps up, peering over Sarah’s head. “I think that’s him over there!"

Sarah listened to the boy talk, she liked people that might come off as a bit crazy to others, she honestly felt far more comfortable around them than others. She wasn't terribly bad at socializing. In fact she was quite the opposite. Rather friendly and imaginative. But she never ever though of someone mad. No, not with someone like her uncle being in those she was closest with. "I'm sure he'll realize soon enough. Even the best of friends fight. But they always come around." She nodded matter of factly. 

Gale nodded, listening to what Sarah had to say. Those ideas could work. Perhaps if she brainstormed the first things that popped into her mind when she first heard the piece on the piano would suffice. It was worth a shot at least. “I’ll try that, thank you. Your story sounds a bit confusing but very interesting. It sounds as though nothing it ever boring, either."

"Except when he’s off searching for his own supper." Benedick stretched his arms under him and laid back in the grass. “I remember when he went through his phase, that involved trotting his recent catch all around the shop and dropping it on the counter. That was one difficult explanation I had with Ezekiel."

"Oh! That would be a bit difficult." She laughed. "Cats are always a bit ...troublesome. Aren't they?" 

"I’m glad I’m not the only one with a problem with titles." Gale tucked her hair behind her ear and gave a weak smile. “So a… world completely different from this one?" Gale rose her brow slightly, intrigued with this thought. “Are there rules or… guidelines, um… ethics that people follow?"

"True. Although if he finds a proper spot on the grass there might never be a chance at moving him, except for dinner." He jokes with his lovely niece. “Indeed, a nice color is always good on the skin."

The small grin on Kyle’s lips widens as Sarah kindly offers to help him. She’s cute, and she seems nice, and instead of shooting him a strange look, she actually giggles at Timothy’s description. However, none of that stops Merlin - or himself, he should say (what does he call himself? How can someone just not be used to being their true self?) - from wondering if she’s just part of an imagined reality, or if she’s a counterpart of sorts from another world as well. He can’t rule anything out yet; he remembers just as clearly and as vividly as if he were in Camelot itself yesterday, how tricky magic can be overall. “Nice to meet you, Sarah. Yeah - that’d be Timothy. He’s not always this bad, but he’s been jealous that I’ve been making crafts for Shannon lately. Or at least, I like to think that’s what it is, and not just his programming going nuts."

"Oh... Yes. He must definitely be jealous. If he's used to having you all to himself that is." She paused considering if she'd ever met a Shannon but she didn't believe that she had... not one that stuck in her mind. "Who's Shannon? What type of crafts are they? I should take it no more little frogs in hover crafts or he'd be even more jealous." She laughed a bit. She kind of wanted to see what Timothy looked looked like even more now, curiosity was always rather strong with Sarah and such an interesting little creature intrigued her more.

"Timothy’s my friend frog. I guess you could call him a pet. He’s the green thing in the hovercraft you may have seen flitting around town," Kyle explains, scratching at the nape of his neck sheepishly. He really ought to stop assuming people know what he’s talking about - even the ones who know don’t know sometimes. “He’s a stuffed animal frog though, in case you haven’t seen him - just, you know, to clarify." He adds quickly, though it seems slightly unnecessary because who would strap in an actual frog into a homemade hovercraft? Honestly, his brain sometimes. After a beat, Kyle straightens and shoots Sarah a small grin. “I’m Kyle."

"I don't think I've seen Timothy in that case then. I'd be glad to help you look. I've lost more things than I can count and I'm rather certain another set of eyes always seems to make it reappear suddenly." Sarah shrugged a bit, though she was quite certain she hadn't seen a frog in a hovercraft. Real, Stuffed or otherwise. "He's a stuffed frog, in a hovercraft?" She couldn't help a bit of a giggle, it was a rather cute image. "Oh yes, where are my manners. I'm Sarah."
