- I send her pictures of my cat bc she loves her - I’ll do sad role plays with her because those help her - I don’t pry and ask what’s wrong because she doesn’t like talking about it - I check on her multiple times a day - I make sure she eats and stays hydrated - I make sure she’s been safe when she has bad nights - I always have my phone on and ready in case she needs me (even at movies) - when she has bad nights I stay awake a little bit later in case she has a nightmare and needs to be comforted - I have two tags for her, one on this blog, one on the other blog, so in case she’s sad when I can’t be on my phone she’s reminded I love her - I’ve written out 365 reasons I love her for when she’s insecure - whenever she is insecure I spam her with all the reasons I love her - I send her her favorite vines - I always remind her that it’s okay to be sad and it’s okay to be mad - I remind her she isn’t a burden and that she isn’t ruining my night (she always thinks she is) - I tell her that if she needs space she can have it not everyone reacts to depression the same way - we promise together not to hurt ourselves and we do it together so we aren’t alone - I let her rant when she wants to rant - even when she tells me there’s nothing I can do I still try - I tell her about how when we’re sad and older we can cuddle up and eat Chinese and watch our favorite show
