more like hate nikki

So, I was planning on saving my money so that I could move out, but… It looks like I can’t do that now.

My mom was hospitalized two weeks ago due to a severe staph infection that was threatening her life. The infection seeded in her spine, causing a number of abscesses that ended up releasing the infection into her blood. She had to receive surgery on her spinal cord to remove the abscesses, and has been left almost completely immobile. I had to quit my job so that I can stay home to help her get around, give her medicine, cook her meals, clean the house, bathe her, put her to bed at night and wake her up in the morning, drive her to appointments, etc. My sister works, but does not make nearly enough money to pay all the bills, which amount to ~$2000 a month. This all being said, if anyone can contribute anything to help us, even just for this month, it would be so greatly appreciated. We’re afraid that our utilities will be shut off and we have a two year old living in our home who could not stand to not have air conditioning.
