That goat is basically what moving to Colorado and trying to make friends with the locals looks like.

This was in the snowy parking lot of the Boulder Main Library last week. I think it's a portable hipster habitrail. I tapped on the glass to try to engage them but they only hunched further down over their open plan work stations.

You really haven’t lived until you try to talk to a 70 year old neighbor at a party and keep getting slow monosyllabic answers then realize they are sitting up really straight with their eyes bugging out pretending so hard that they aren’t baked.

This happens in Boulder, of course.

Frankly, our school is frequently approached by bears but the town dogs manage to keep them back better than the shotguns loaded with rock salt.
