Leaving the Nordic center, a guy with lots of Lycra, expensive skate ski gear, and horrible form told me it looked like it was a hard day. The sun was shining, I had at least 2 of my kids loaded into the carrier with snacks and was skiing them up the trail, we were outside, "Why?" I asked. "Well, that is a lot of weight." "Oh." I said. When I got to the top of my route a guy older than dirt flew past, "Beautiful day!" Then he lapped me again, "You mothers are so strong these days." "Isn't everyone?" "No."
