                    do you have any idea where                     the  nearest  police  station  is?  it’s                     a bit of an emergency. 

            Eyes remain cast downward, but soon a hand is lifted             to point towards her right. There's still no sense of real             urgency to her actions, though.

                   ”Hei? Well that’s hardly imposing.”

   And it only led him further to believe that perhaps   she was not all there and Hei was a ghost like    figure — if he believed in such things. Because   As he looked around again he saw nothing resembling   someone named Hei.

                        “And who are you?”

           She couldn't very well explain who Hei was to            this stranger. If she was that would give up any            sort of element of surprise. Though, his skepticism            didn't bother her any and she remained standing            in the same place she had been before.

          "—- Found me? For what?”

             The water around her feet lifted slightly, revealing               her tracking ghost -- though, unless this girl was               a contractor, there would be no way she could               see it herself. Her answer would be simple enough.

          strange, it seems. that they should choose to send her,           when messages typically traveled through mao.

          though little point is there in questioning what’s already been done.           so he holds his tongue.

          he needs not give her any affirmation of having heard.           not when she already knows he listens.                            he always listens ; when it’s her voice.

           She has relayed her message so therefore the job            is done, though she makes no movements to leave.            She prefers being in his presence and it isn't often            that she comes to this apartment, so she'll remain            until he tells her to go. Her gaze shifts towards the            kitchen where she knows he's gone, and soon the            silence is filled with a grumbling noise. Hunger.

          shortly after settling, & words have come and gone,           his hand removes from atop her head to pull jacket from           his shoulders and hang it beside the door.

                     his steps now                            — as they often do —                                        veer toward the kitchen.

          ( she doesn’t eat; not much anyways.                       but he may as well provide the option. )

             He steps away but she remains standing in that same              spot. The acts of free will only go so far before it settles              in again that she truly is a doll that only goes when told.              A small bob of her head is given in affirmation.
