I was gonna log back in and fix my theme but I guess tumblr fixed their shit so it works again now. But while I’m here...
I want to let you all know, some of you I’m sure have figured it out by now but others, maybe not.
I’m no longer active here and I honestly don’t see myself returning any time soon. Making horror movie gifs, has been fun. I miss everything about it and everyone I’ve met through it, but I just don’t find enjoyment in it anymore. It started out as a thing I was doing for myself, a simple hobby, but it turned into something else. It started to feel like a job, and one that doesn’t pay well at that. The better at it I got, the more it felt like work. And I’m obviously not getting paid to do it, and as the surrounding community dwindled and people didn’t really show interest, I lost motivation, and since I was no longer doing it for myself, I didn’t and don’t see why I’d be doing it at all.
I have been questioning starting a blog where I gif video mixtapes, and I was hoping to maybe co-run it with some people who also would do the same, but based on how I’ve broken away from this blog, I’m not sure if that’ll ever come to be.
I would like to keep in contact with people I’ve drifted from over the past few years. I’m fucking terrible at doing that, for whatever reason. And I apologize. If anyone isn’t aware, I am still active, just on my personal blog. There’s not much in the way of original content, however. But this is serving as a reminder and an announcement that that is where I am now, for anyone who cares.
You’re welcome to still follow this blog if you choose to. But this is it. I might still make a rare post here and there as I have been (so like once a year lol) but don’t expect much.
