Vampires: Bloodsuckers.

Weres: Shifters without a choice.

Mages: Humans with magical abilities.

Fey: Nature beings.

Phoenixes: Sun birds.

Dragons: Ancient reptiles.

Spirits: Impressions of the dead.

Elementals: Humanoid basics.

Humans: Those without power.

The School for the Commons is secret to all humans. We do not wish them to know of us, as this has led to persecution in the past. Please regard the Salem Witch Trials and the huntings for the wolf in France as example of what humans will do to us if they learn we exist.

This particular school is for the gifted and privileged of the "common." We do not discriminate race, but rather wealth, power, and skill, as we are a private school for the elite. We want to find the talent that is left among our kinds, and we wish to nourish that talent while maintaining good relationships between the races themselves. The wars between the were-wolves and the vampires are long over, and we wish to keep it that way. We wish to save the dragons from their extinction, and preserve the life cycles of the phoenixes. We are honored that the Court has allowed the fey to attend.
