Here’s a Re-Draw if my first drawing on my iPad

Okay, I get it she’s a Dark skin character in a POKÉMON game. Yes, She has a dark skin color, but you can’t hate on artist for making her skin tone a shade or two lighter. Most of the time it’s based on lighting or the position the she’s in and other times it maybe the way the artist colors or shades. You shouldn’t hate on the artist for something as small as that. I’m not saying it’s okay to completely change a dark characters skin tone to white, but I am say you shouldn’t yell at the artist for a tone or two different. That’s like me saying you can’t Genderbend characters or change the outfits of them because it’s not accurate to the character. If it’s okay to turn Nessa into a boy then you should be mad at an artist for making the skin a bit lighter, to add on I’ve seen drawings of her a bit darker, but that seems I check out with everyone. If artist aren’t allowed to make her lighter I guess it shouldn’t be allowed to make her darker ether? The internet hurts my head sometimes.
