I have sub-blogs on this account, so not gonna delete this one, but will be putting up a page (instead of layout) saying how I moved urls. Yessss!
Hey, all! Felt the need to update this (mainly for myself, of course). My year has been rather crappy. My gram got sick and was in the hospital, got out, got better, came to visit, fell, broke her hip. Back in the hospital, then out, then back in. Then home with us, getting better, fell and broke the other hip. Back in the hospital, came home and gave up. She passed away on April 1st (go figure).
In May I was having stomach issues. Went to quick care place, urine and blood tests. Doctorās the next day and scheduled an ultrasound to check for issues the next day but I ended up going to the ER before then. Got admitted. Ultrasound showed gallbladder stones. MRI. Camera down the throat (first time I had been put to sleep and was worried about that test but it wasnāt a big deal and just felt like I had strep throat afterwards for a while). Migraine all that night. Doc decided to remove the gallbladder since my dad died of gallbladder cancer. Had that done in the morning. Woke up to the worst pain Iāve ever had in my life, ug. Four incisions and 13 staples. Couldnāt pee all night and had to have a catheter in and out and a few stomach scans to measure the pee. FINALLY went on my own little by little and then back to normal. I was up ALL that night moving around and hardly slept cos I just wanted to pee.
Came home the next day, held a sneeze in for weeks, laughing made me cry with pain. No bathroom troubles or anything and I only took a couple days worth of pain meds. It took 5 weeks before I was finally out of pain. I read a lot of people go back to work the next day! Ouch. I still have some issues (stomachaches after eating certain things) and Iād rather have been able to keep my gallbladder cos of the bile regulation and all, but glad I can eat without that horrible pain any more! Thought Iād type this in case others are looking around for gallbladder info. Not everyone is the same and some of us take longer to heal. Moving around sucks at first but it totally helps rid that gas they put in you during the surgery!

As usually, the quality sucks cos my movie file wasnāt HQ. And (also as usual), if you see ads on it (or canāt play it on some devices), itās cos the song had copyright issues, blah blah. Iāve loved this song for ages and it took me weeks to figure out which movie to use. TheĀ ādrowning,āĀ āaddictedā and āsmotherāĀ parts clicked a bit and I went with this.

I used to hate āTop Gearā (no idea why) but then it was on one day and I didnāt turn the channel and ended up loving it. James is my fave, then Jeremy and then Richard. So last night I had a dream I was sitting at a desk in some little classroom with James at the next desk over. He kept sending me mixed signals and finally leaned close and askedĀ āWhat do you wanna do?ā so I kissed him. And he kissed me back.
Then he was sitting behind me and was messing with my hair (in a silly way) and reaching around putting his hands on my chest and stuff. I noticed my mom was in the back somewhere and told him to behave. He was more discrete and I asked him if heād draw me a picture cos I like the sound of the pencil on the paper. I guess he didnāt want to because he moved back a few rows to sit next to some guy and, in attempts to make him jealous, I got close to another guy who was drawing something. But I woke up before anything else happened.

I started this months ago. After I had to reformat my hard drive, I couldnāt get it to open and it was finished, but I hadnāt saved it! Finally got it to work again and got it uploaded. My least fave in the set Iāve made, but I didnāt wanna let it go to waste.

I finally got around to watching āThe Tomb Of Ligeiaā earlier today (or yesterday, rather). And then I spent hours on this video, which Iām not entirely happy with cos it turned out harder than I had expected to match up the lyrics with the footage. Usually I like some sort of plot happening but I kinda trailed off towards the end and I dunno. Good enough! Iāve been watching X-Men movies lately (Iām slow to catch up to stuff). Last night I had a fun dream. I was in some little store and they were having a convention or something. Wolverine and some other X-Men people were there and they were walking around with Magneto. They werenāt actors but the actual characters (dreams, right?). Then a couple people (famous characters, but I canāt seem to recall them) were clinging to Magneto and wouldnāt let anyone else near him for autographs or anything. Somehow I managed to squeeze in and they had been holding hands, but then stopped and when hand-holding began again, Magneto grabbed my hand (yay!).
We walked outside to the parking lot and they were all talking about how he was having a party and invited everyone. I got mad/hurt cos he hadnāt invited me and I walked away to my car. Everyone else was going to their own cars to leave and I looked up and saw this huge billboard with a message saying something like:
āDear Lisa, Will you come to my party? āMagnetoā
I felt like a fool and turned to apologize but heād already started driving away. I chased the car through the parking lot and then asked some of his friends where he was going. They couldnāt tell me but took me to some old record store with a recording studio where I could ask someone whoād know. I waiting around and looked at the old collectibles in the store and then I woke up. Boo.
Anyway, I forgot how much I adore Ian. Now Iām in the mood to rewatch my faves (āApt Pupilā andĀ āGods & Monstersā) but of course theyāre not on On-Demand. I keep meaning to record them but havenāt gotten around to it yet. Plus I still havenāt seen the first X-Men movie and Iām too lazy to set the DVR for this week. I should really do that, though.

I use GAP for Gimp, but isnāt there something in your program about filtering all layers? Then you can do the colors- channel -mixer.
I think Iām just effects-challenged or something, lol! I keep trying tutorials and they always turn out WAY different cos I can never get the settings to make the colours come out right. I managed to get the scripty thing to work but it makes me clickĀ āokā every step. Better than doing each step bit-by-bit, though, I guess. One day! :-D

Blergh. I need to sit down and actually find me a tutorial on how to make bright colours for gifs....using PaintShopPro! Cos thatās all I use (along with AnimationShop) and canāt be arsed to learn a new program. Iām surprised I got away from MSPaint, lmao! As it is now, I open the frames in Anim and send them to PSP, then manually brighten them, then put them back in Anim and yell at how some frames came out too dark/light. I also need to learn how to make a script thingy in PSP so I donāt have to manually add everything to each frame. Last time I tried a script, it didnāt work. *lazy*
Was watchingĀ āJeopardyā with my mom tonight. The first category in double Jeopardy wasĀ āHannibal Lectureā and I was all excited. The players didnāt pick it until half the board was done. Come to find out, it was about the historical Hannibal. There I was afraid it was gonna be all about the TV series and not the movies and it wasnāt even about the right character. Lame.
(And to make matters worse, I didnāt even know until my mom saidĀ āThe OTHER Hannibalā cos during the first clue, I just assumed it was the TV version and was mad cos I had no idea what the answer was, lol!)
