Hello all, Im Erika... and 3 days before my birthday, I was diagnosed with Gallstones.
I have Gallstones. I went to the hospital after feeling excruciating pain in my right side near my ribcage after a birthday dinner.
Listing the symptoms to the doctor, he stopped me halfway through listing the symptoms and poked his head out to ask the nurses if the ultrasound nurse left yet and let me continue speaking. Already a bad start, I finished and they did some blood tests, used an ultrasound near my lower ribs, and did a urine sample to absolutely make sure I had what they thought I had.
They found several small stones in my Gallbladder and told me I needed to remove my entire gallbladder soon, giving me a deadline of as soon as possible to couple months being the best possible options for me.
I dont have insurance and I cant afford it on my current paycheck. If you would like to help me out, I've started a GoFundMe. Anything is appreciated.

I dont think Ive explained my gallbladder situation on here but yea, long story short my pear shaped organ turned evil on me and its FULL of stones and Im getting it removed soon.
I made the doctor laugh today though saying I was a maraca though lmao . ( feel free to use that joke of being a maraca if y'all ever go through evil-pear-syndrome aka Gallstones as it made a bummer situation funny )
just had my gallbladder removed a few hours ago; everything went well and I’m already home and working towards recovery <3

...stupid gallstones...
Probably going to be a while before I can get to sleep. It's been a while since they last acted up, I was hoping they would be quiet until the gallbladder surgery, but should have known that was too much to wish for.
I think 'your fave has autism' and 'your fave is gay' is getting old. Im going to start headcannoning characters with my other traits.
Your fave has gallstones
Your fave has billiary colic when they eat almond butter. Their surgery is in a month. I've decided it, and you can't stop me.
What causes chronic abdominal pain?
Chronic abdominal pain is pain that lasts for more than three months or keeps coming back over time. It's not a condition itself but a symptom that can have many different causes.
Some of the most common causes include: 🔹 Gallstones 🔹 Hernia 🔹 Acid reflux (GERD) 🔹 Stomach ulcers 🔹 Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) 🔹 Chronic constipation 🔹 Kidney stones 🔹 Inflammatory bowel diseases like Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis
Sometimes, persistent abdominal pain may also be linked to conditions that require surgical evaluation, especially if it's associated with fever, vomiting, unexplained weight loss, blood in the stool, or severe tenderness.
Ignoring ongoing abdominal pain isn't a good idea. If the pain continues or becomes more frequent, it's important to get a proper diagnosis so the underlying cause can be treated effectively.
