Things definitely sound bad where you are, but here in the UK we've had some vaguely socialist stuff like the NHS (Which worked great till it got hit hard by cuts), and a lot of controversy back when Thatcher and New Labour privatised stuff like British Rail and the mail service. Just how extreme is the socialism in Venezuela then? Were they literally walking into outside company's factories and taking them off their hands?
We have the real deal here, pure S+ rank socialism.
You see when Chavez did his “hail hydra” turn in 2007, and went full socialist, he started to expropiate and take control over factories, industries and so on, then he died and Maduro took control of everything, and he continued what Chavez did, until the government took control over the 70% of the industries here, plus the ports, and customs.
So as the saying goes “seize the means of productions” and he did it, and of course the working class was “under control” of the factories and stuff like that along with the military, and everyone got a raise, benefits and shit.
“But Naavs, that’s a good thing” and yeah it is. But there’s also a fact called “things cost money”
So, everyone got a raise, paid vacations, shorter hours (people work around 6 hrs) and health insurance, everything is just happy and awesome, until 3 months later that people realized that, they have to pay services, taxes, and a lot of other shit to keep the business going, and the socialist don’t understand that no country is capable being self-sustain, because you know… global economy?
And now, let’s say that you NEED this amount of raw material to produce the (x) product, but you can find here in the motherland, what you do? import it right?
Guess what? you can’t! but why tho?
1) After Maduro took control, he shut down every way possible the whole currency exchange process, because why you want that imperial cancer called “us dollar”
So instead of just going to the central bank and make the currency exchange, you have to put your name on a government list and wait around a month or two to see if you’re elegible so you can request the amount of money you need to import what you need.
2) The thing you need “can” be produced here? if the answer is “yes” then you’re not allowed to import it! think about the motherland bruh. (And it doesn’t matter if that thing you need is not produced here, if you say that it “can” be produce here, then it’s a no)
3) You manage to import that raw material you need to produce your product, but with what money? Do you mean that you acquire those $$ from a third party and not the government? Well you’re under arrest because that’s illegal.
You see when Maduro shut down the whole thing with the currency exchange, he ordered to the central bank to not release any information about “inflation” or anything related, because with no data, there’s no inflation. (i’m not kidding that’s the logic behind it)
Anyway because of that, a black market was created and thus the “black dollar” was born.
So now you have this very heavy controlled economy, in where the bank doesn’t show any data about how everything is going, and you have now the entrepreneur, small business, almost everyone going to this black market, and of course everything is going to cost more.
Maduro’s solution to this was somewhat to “freeze” the prices of everything. Now let’s go back to the number 2t “if (x) product ‘can’ be produced it would cost (x) amount of money”, but since we don’t produce anything here, and you have to import that product with black dollar then check number 3, you get arrested and the government takes your business.
So all those raises, and stuff doesn’t worth shit, because at the end of the year those business, factories and shit went into bankruptcy
“But Naavs, in the news say that Venezuela has the highest miniun-wage in south america” which is true.
The minimun-wage here is 250k, you know how much it is? around 8$, what things you can buy with 250k? groceries for a week. Which reminds me, i never talked about this.
the biometric data
Around 2014 this system was implemented on markets, super markets, and pharmacies. “Capitalism is a disease” was one of the things the government said when this system was introduced; “thanks to capitalism, people became more greedy, and so they started to buying in a excessive way”
And so they limited the amount of things you can buy, for example my ID last number is 3, so i was “allowed” to do my groceries on tuesday. And after i bought the things i “needed” i could buy those things again in two weeks.
Althought they’re dropping this system since the queue lines were absurd, really absurd.
People have to wait since 5am until 3 pm to get 1 chicken, a little bit of butter, and sugar.
But since it was became to obvious the government created the CLAP. Which is your typical box of rations.
It’s delivered every 90 days (you have to strech that for 90 days, unless you can spend a good coin on the black market)
So there you go, Maduro’s clap was the answer to get rid of those queue lines, so no more queue, no more photos like the one on top, so nothing is happening here, everything is cool.
BTW the guy has the balls to expropiate, Chrysler, Ford’s, and P&G factories. Thus making Coca-Cola, and other companies to leave, even United Airlines left lol.

A ‘fatberg’ is a congealed mass of wet wipes, sanitary napkins, condoms, and other similar items that end up in sewers. They’re usually held together with oils or cooking fats and can cause sewage to flood into the streets. One of the largest fatbergs ever discovered was found in a London sewer, measured 820 feet long, and weighed roughly the same as 19 adult elephants. Source
most vegetables are just different kinds of broccoli
Explain
broccoli, cabbage, kohlrabi, kale, brussel sprouts, collard greens, savoy, and cauliflower are all the same species of plant, Brassica oleracea
most veggies is the same
But wait, there’s more!
Brassical oleracea, cabbage and so on, hybridizes with B. rapa, turnip and Chinese cabbage, to make B. napus, rutabaga and rapeseed. It also hybridizes with B. nigra, black mustard, to form B. carinata, Ethiopian mustard. And B. rapa and B. nigra hybridize together to form B. juncea, Indian mustard.
Together these relationships make up the fantastic Triangle of U!
And why it it called the Triangle of U? Because of this awesome guy, botanist Woo Jang-choon.
Working in Japan in the 1930s and using his Japanized name of U Nagaharu, he analyzed the evolutionary history of the six species through careful breeding techniques. “Woo made synthetic hybrids between the diploid and tetraploid species and examined how the chromosomes paired in the resulting triploids” (Wikipedia). This theory of hybrid origin, named the Triangle of U in his honor, has since been confirmed by genetic analysis.
If you set out to create every-which-way hybrids out of three congeneric species, and make sure that they were still all tasty, they would call you mad! Mad! But Woo proved that nature is even more of a mad scientist than a human could ever be.

Harry Vox 2014 showing you Rockefeller white papers on an outbreak and global lockdown
“The pandemic also had a deadly effect on economies: international mobility of both people and goods screeched to a halt, debilitating industries like tourism and breaking global supply chains. Even locally, normally bustling shops and office buildings sat empty for months, devoid of both employees and customers.[…]The United States’s initial policy of “strongly discouraging” citizens from flying proved deadly in its leniency, accelerating the spread of the virus not just within the U.S. but across borders. However, a few countries did fare better—China in particular. The Chinese government’s quick imposition and enforcement of mandatory quarantine for all citizens, as well as its instant and near-hermetic sealing off of all borders, saved millions of lives, stopping the spread of the virus far earlier than in other countries and enabling a swifter postpandemic recovery.”
