saw Hozier at Reading festival yesterday and he did about a five min speech focused mostly on Palestine, called out the fact that the UK government’s legislation on Palestine Action is insane….. and I just looked at BBC iPlayer and they broadcast every major set except his. which was literally the one that closed the night. like idk the censorship of pro Palestine sentiments in this country is insane

and fwiw the cheering for his statement was so loud, I know a festival crowd was always gonna steer young but institutions like the BBC behaving like pro Palestine sentiments aren’t widely echoed by the public is a joke
