welcome to the Tumblr Object tournament 2023!!
intro:
"tot2023" is a lot like your average tumblr tournament, except instead of your favorite characters its your favorite things!!! tools, toys, trash, any physical object that you might use in your day to day life.
The first couple waves have already finished, with the winner being a pair of headphones. but don't worry, the tournament wont be stopping any time soon!!

the bracket to this tournament is unique, in that it will expand as the tournament goes on to accommodate new contestants, while still keeping the bracket fair for every object. more info on the bracket here.
The submissions for the tournament are still open and will remain open throughout the competition!! you can submit your objects here or in an ask.
there are a few rules on what does and does not qualify, but theyre all pretty loose, so dont worry too much when submitting. just keep in mind that it must be small enough to hold, non-living, and non-lethal. if needed, the specific rules for submissions can be found here.

this tournament was inspired by (or is related to) a bunch of other silly or unusual tournaments, such as @who-do-i-know-this-man, @janmisali 's best number bracket, @ultimate-poll-tournament , @the-nobody-tournament , @thing-fight, @sans-au-sillyman-tournament, and BFDI and BFB by Jack n Jellify (although i didnt notice the similarity until afterwards).
