I’ve always seen the caterpillar and the butterfly as two total different animals. And I guess it’s because I see them like how I see people—once we’ve gone through metamorphosis, we’re never the same.

It seemed like you could know me. Like you could understand anything I told you. And the more we spoke, I knew why. The same things excited us. The same things concerned us.
