Looks like my faves so far are Akuta, Sousuke, and Samon - Akuta and Samon were predictable, I can't resist longhair genderweird characters, but I did NOT expect to enjoy Sousuke as much as I did! I love how deadpan he is (same for Akuta, I didn't expect him to be a voice of reason). They play really well off the more zany/hyperactive character. Samon, I admit, I like because he's hot and stupid and I want his gender.

The way that we can see that it's the same building and the same room as the modern defense clubs... It feels so new but familiar at the same time. We're coming back to the defense club after so long :)
I like seeing the Boueibu formula happen with different characters and relationships that make the story unique every time
The difference between the Love SC introduction walking down the stairs and En describing them as oden ingredients, and the Haikara SC posing under light beams

The "NA-NANDATTE?!" is so iconic that I notice it while I'm watching Yugioh lol
The way the boys were like "Oh you want us to defend the earth?" Nuru was like "Nah I just came to warn you of the danger" and they all paused jsjsjsjs
So the theme this time is free will vs obligation, interesting
The only references I didn't like are the transformation sequences and poses all being so similar to the Love ones. Like they're clearly trying to emulate them. At least make them original? It feels like apart from the outfits, the DC don't have their own identity apart from the other DCs
I miss when they had a purifying move like the Love Shower, Love Fountain and Love Graduation. I also miss HAPPY READY?????
The ending was beautiful though I need to rewatch it, clearly Sutoreito has something going on with winter and christmas
