If you're referring to the episode, I think their brief separation was a high point, not only with N and Uzi but also how N perceives V's actions.

N doesn't tell Uzi why he wanted to keep her away and this makes Uzi distrust his word. N realizes what he's doing at the time but this gives Uzi time to separate from him and Tessa (indirectly saving her from having the same fate as Doll)

Later when he meets with Nori, he says he won't keep secrets from Uzi anymore, even if it might hurt her. This is something N wanted from V, for her to tell the truth even if it hurt him. N doesn't want to make the same mistake as V, so he changes his mind.

So yeah, I like that there's this separation of points of view, both for the viewer to see different points of the story and for N to think about what Tessa said to him in 'Dead End' and the actions he took afterward.
