I believe that these “writers” and show runner have absolutely NO love or logic when it comes to Michonne’s character. Whether it’s denying her the mantle of wife, to the wearing of that goddamn noose ring, to torturing and branding her whilst pregnant, to now putting her together with a person who she has had MINIMAL contact and is also the former HUSBAND of someone else… so now Michonne is eating another white woman’s sloppy seconds. Her friend’s ex no less. Nah son. They have shown and proven that they can and will show the character of Michonne in the most negative of lights and I honestly feel this is to make way for the imminent pairing of a certain character with Rick who is the correct color for them if and when these movies happen. People are put in their place. The “correct” couples are now put together. And all is white “right” in the world.

I have never felt so betrayed or emotional about a television show. They took a beautiful character that had more than earned the love and respect that she was rarely shown and have tainted her exit with this … insult of a plot device. Any way you cut it, that scene is now canon (dream or not) and its tainted everything that brought me to this fandom.
