Considering your type of grind!
One thing you’ll learn in any type of barista training is that different grinds are used in different brewing methods. Therefore, if you use the wrong grind, it will lead to under-extracted or over-extracted coffee. For instance if your coffee is too finely ground, it will over-extract the flavours from the coffee and results in bitter tasting coffee. On the other hand, extra coarsely ground coffee will result in flavourless coffee.
