Oh, you can definitely say I had excellent company. One guy was a terrible kisser, though. Way too slobbery.

Marley: After I pass out first

“Chill is good.” Ryder agreed. “You don’t usually regret chilled the next day.” He joked. He wasn’t surprised when Finn brought up Marley, it felt like there had been an elephant in the room for weeks as they both tiptoed around the other. “Oh yeah, we are.” He nodded, feeling a bit of awkwardness creeping in. “She invited me over for dinner and we live in the same building. Plus she’s great, it’s a no-brainer.” 

“You got a point,” Finn agreed as he pointed at Ryder. The urge to cringe out of awkwardness as the other guy answered was strong, but he made his greatest effort to restrain himself. It was hard to hear that Marley was the one who took the initiative, although he already knew that because she had told him herself. She just needed a friend, right? “Yeah, she is. She’s the best,” he said, his face faltering slightly to a stern look. “As long as she has a good friend around, that’s all that matters.”

After Christmas?! Damn that’s a super long time. I don’t think I’d like waiting that long for anything. Hopefully it’s good news then it’ll be worth it and not like the time I waited fourteen years for the Green Lantern film. 

Yeah, dude. That was a total bummer, even for me. At least it’s nice to know that the actors hated it too.

It was a very spirited and festive night, yes. 

Marley: I'll introduce you to them then someday lol

Marley: Good. I don’t think I could look at you again if you told me you had Beyoncé on speed dial lol

Finn: Nahh, that would be too wild.

Finn: I did see Jay-Z at a club once though. Didn't meet him so it doesn't count anyway.

“Um, hello? Why else would I bother putting my life on the line? I’m not going to risk getting trampled by a bunch of Karens for shit that’s at regular price. That’s ridiculous.” It almost felt as though she was going off to war just to be able to buy a pair of shoes for half off. “Hey, I never said that. Eager or somethin’? You’re not suppose to know what I got you until Christmas, remember?” She furrowed her eyebrows, shaking her head. “Nuh-uh. You better ask your not-so-subtle-crush or your ma’ because I definitely don’t have Playstation 5 money.”

“You’re asking the wrong person. I joined my mom on a Black Friday sale once as a kid and was scarred for life,” Finn grimaced, but soon broke out in laughter. “Just teasin’ ya. I had to try.” He wasn’t ready to replace his current Playstation, anyway. “Feels kinda low to ask your mom for a Playstation when you’re 30. I stopped asking her for shit when I was 14. Although I should do better when it comes to gift giving this year. What’s on your wishlist?”

SANTANA: Yeah, well, I would say sorry but I'm sure you're used to it.

SANTANA: It was alright. Wouldn't necessarily call it a blast but ya know, the food was good.

SANTANA: Yeah? Have you found anything yet?

FINN: You have no idea. ;)

FINN: That's important too.

Oh man waiting sucks. Patience is not one of my strengths and it doesn’t seem like it’s one of yours either. But hey at least you know you’re not suffering alone. When do you think you’ll hear about whatever it is you’re waiting to be accepted for? 

Nah, you’re right. It’s supposed to come right after Christmas, which is kinda good for those who gets rejected because then they won’t ruin their Christmas, but I just wish I knew now. 

“Yeah exactly, that’s one way of putting it.” Ryder laughed as Finn commented on Brittany’s focus. Brittany definitely had a chaotic energy, but that’s why Ryder loved her. She was usually the one who was down to do his dumb ideas with him when everyone else shot him down. “Yeah the pizza was great, and the whole day was chill. I would say it was exactly what I needed, but my whole life is pretty chill right now.” He chuckled. For once things seemed to be going okay for him, and he was going to enjoy that while it lasted.

Finn nodded along as Ryder spoke. “Nothing wrong with taking it chill,” he commented. The thought of a quiet Thanksgiving wasn’t a horrible idea in his mind either, although he did like that his family wasn’t as loud and big as others. He took a sip of his beer and cleared his throat a little. “So, heard you and Marley have been hanging out lately. Didn’t know you guys were friends.”

Marley: How did you think that was gonna go? lol

Marley: How many famous friends do you have?

Finn: Dunno, I just said what was on my mind.
