terrible fanfic idea: yandere au, but like the yandere's mom is involved with the yanderes shenanigans—she's fairly normal ish but like if her child asks her to break the senpai's legs, she will and chain the senpai up so they don't leave. she knows it's wrong and illegal and evil but she doesn't really care. she will feed the senpai and lecture her child on being a bad partner but largely just helps the yandere and keeps the senpai from escaping.
omutatsu is making fanfiction of decomic series. think about that.
im stuck in the twintail curse. hair too thick to leave out, looks bad in a ponytail or bun, too short to braid. only option is twintails.
i don't think this deserves to be gatekept to my twt. i love all of you tumblr people more then i will ever love twt people. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

miscellaneous stuff i would do if i could direct a new ce:overdose adaptation with imaginary infinite budget/connections
- 24 episodes
- animated by otoiro + doga kobo + studio daisy
- female protagonist possibly named miyuki
- mainly animated style with some irl segments for flashbacks and the epilogue
- faces are never shown in flashbacks, only epilogue
- each musician gets one episode each + some lucid stuff and charaepis. overall slower and more chill pacing
- more direct adaptation of game's storyline
- one episode decicated to shogo's backstory in his perspective
- when thorn explains her perspective, you get a sequence of the story in asuka's perspective plus the aftermath of ichika's suicide
- asuka must try and fight shogo
- sweet-p has an oshi no ko moment when she realises she is trans ("oshi no ko moment" is the phrase i use when the animation style goes all watercolour-y and beautiful to convey a strong emotion. its hard to explain but there's a few of them in y'know. oshi no no.)
- the dreamy-cute girls from the ramen store are implied to be the flower princesses
- every time sweet-p gets misgendered you can visibly see her about to have a panic attack and everything goes darker and everything is spelled so obvious that This Is Hell For Her
- ayana's stork beating scenes are absolutely badass
- stork looks like a Legitimate Threat in the bathhouse but when he is defeated he just looks like a stupid bird
- the flower princesses are treated like actual humans for the entirety of the runtime
- they might look a little distorted in mifue's imagination since she's a like that
- the bathhouse water gotta look really drinkable
- they gotta put reasonable fish in mirei's aquarium
- every time ayana looks at a woman (ESPECIALLY miyuki) they need to be adorned with a halo of stars and hearts.
- it begins with a happy little sequence of mobius, possibly a "would you like to live in a world where there are no faults?", immediately interrupted by chaos and peter pan syndrome
- cut to the opening song
- in general aria and myu are gayer for each other
- in the end aria shoots myu while embracing her
- ending is despairful enough to get big booby aria but not too despairful
- miyuki identity crisis crashout miyuki identity crisis crashout
- miyuki visibly nervous when everyone's commenting on sweet-p being trans
- miyuki and shogo drink together
- musicians and ghc fight side-by-side against thorn
- musicians are introduced with dramatic-ass lighting
- when thorn jumps it often cuts back to reality with irl ichika
- ghc having fun in the amusement part before they have to fight kuchi and mirei. there should be funny bits like izuru winning carnival games effortlessly, mifue and kotaro going on the biggest rides and scaring the hell out of suzuna, and so on.
- suzuna accompanies mifue to the tea party instead of prez or naruko. idk i just want suzuna there.
- random other ymnk-verse cameos in the back. especially negahapi because they're funny like that.
--
- in the epilogue:
- kensuke is writing music, zoom shot on him titling the song "peter pan syndrome"
- sweet-p is at the cafe with the flower princesses in a simple cutesy outfit and snapping pictures. mifue joins in.
- ayana cries while reading the letters her father gave her, tries to send one back
- stork gets arrested. he is clearly staring at the officer's boobs (but is trying not to)
- suzuna tries to talk to some of her classmates, they ignore her, she tries hiding in the bathroom again but runs into shonen-doll.
- kuchinashi is crying and showing the article of kouki's arrest to her parents.
- she visits stork in jail and says thank you in sign language
- mirei visits toshizo in a funerary home, leaves a valuable necklace at his ashes
- she's out on the street and she's crying and takkun's crying?? so she buys him a lollipop!! kotono is annoyed af
- ike-p tries to flirt with izuru but izuru doesn't get it.
- shadow knife is beating up thugs in the alleyway. kotaro is helping the victims
- wicked is in hospital. sakura visits her.
- naruko deletes gossiper and opens a word doc that she titles "The Caligula Effect"
- shogo and asuka visit ichika's grave together. shogo tries to talk to asuka. asuka walks away.
caring a lot about my clothing but not doing makeup or shaving is so funny because i'm like "look!! 200 frills!! don't look at my face."
dear diary.
why must good things cost so much money
i finally found a lolita store and there clothes were so good but they were also ridiculously expensive. that's when i remembered why i don't own lolita clothing.
fuck everything. whats the media people ASSUME youre into. what are people surprised that you havent watched/played/whatever
DECO*27 is somehow the only person brave enough to make a hatsune miku gyaru selfcest yuri song.

Amandemonium Day 59
Laundry...
Sorry, Amane.
The story behind this is that Beans and I were brainstorming an AU where Milgram is a manor, and all the prisoners are conscripted as servants. Es is Jackalope's ward, and they get to know the prisoners. The judgments lead to a shift in duties, and the "guilty" ones get the undesirable tasks. Amane gets the laundry... (Fuuta has to clean the fireplace, and Mahiru has to deal with pests.)
oooh deco you want to make a honmei mv so bad oooh
my mom hung up some clothes of mine on the doorframe and it seriously could not convey more "this guy dresses like a cartoon bully" if it got up and stole a kids lunch money
i live like this chat.

(evil button) secretly post them on one of your existing sideblogs
might as well do it i need smth better to talk about
re: mikoto and the idea of mental illness, i think it's really important to notice that explicitly, in the text, it wasn't that he 'had' a mental illness, which caused him to commit a crime. it's that he commit a crime, and after the fact, recieved a psychiatric diagnosis, which marked him and his behaviour as mentally ill, to be judged as such.
if mikoto hadn't had his violent outbursts, and hadn't killed people – if he'd died by overwork – he would not have been considered mentally ill. his livelong emotional suppression, questionable self-esteem and substance abuse, and total disconnection from sides of himself that are shameful? they would not have been pathological, they would have been personality traits that had helped him serve and function, at the end of the day, as a model citizen.
if mikoto had had his violent outbursts and/or killed people, but never recieved a psychiatric diagnosis afterwards through milgram or otherwise, he also would not have been considered mentally ill [read: habouring some sort of disease that warps his mind and behaviour]. his violent outbursts, dissociative amnesia, independent streams of consciousness, and every other surrounding personality trait, would have been chalked up to his acute circumstances (including 100+ days of sleep deprivation, social isolation, and prolonged substance abuse) and general flawed and unfortunate character.
because at the end of the day, mental illness is not an intrinsic characteristic and it is not a neutral label. it is, historically, a way of labelling the root cause of criminal and dangerous and dysfunctional behaviour in inner irrationality, as opposed to external social circumstance. it is a label often given to criminals and antisocials, specifically to denote that they are criminals and antisocials by nature, so that wider society is not held accountable for the people (vulnerable by circumstance, by neurodiverse development, or both) that they abuse and then fail to support.
nothing about his character was mentally ill, up until the moment he commit a crime, which then checked off the final criterion on near every psychiatric diagnosis, that would read: 'above listed symptoms [traits] causes occupational and/or social dysfunction'.

"If you wanted good DID rep you shouldn't have expected it from milgram! This was obvious from MeMe!" I'm sorry I expected a writer with a degree in psychology to have at least a google search worth of understanding of the disorder he was working with?? and none of the other cases or yet, ANYTHING yamanaka has write has been even half this awful?? And MILGRAM is known for bait-and-switches?? I'm sorry I saw all the "I'm gonna protect you's" in Double and the humanisation of John and thought "okay this might not be perfect DID rep but at least they're doing to do an interesting subversion of the evil alter killer trope."?? And t2 already had really good representation of the less talked about dissociative aspects of the disorder??
And at the VERY LEAST i would have expected Kayano Mikoto, who consistently had the best songs in MILGRAM's entire discography, vomposed by my favourite music artist, to have an actually listenable song.
12 victims
Yes, he wasn't lying when he said he killed people randomly...
Mikoto's murders were not random.
No.1 中林 大志 (Nakabayashi Taishi) > Unemployed, and due to it, became psychologically distressed and ended up homeless. A person Mikoto would never want to be like: (1) Unemployed, because Mikoto got a career he wants/needs to help support himself and family; (2) Homeless, forcibly hidden and ostracized by society; and (3) Suffering, from the distress of unemployment in a society run by work and financial struggles.
No.2 関根 央 (Sekine Hisatsu) > High school dropout, a freelancer and does part time jobs, and part of a biker gang. A person that Mikoto would never want to be like: (1) High school dropout, severely restricts one's social status and possibility of getting work/opportunities; (2) Freelancing/Part-time jobs, unstable source of income and Mikoto values normality/stability; (3) Biker gang member, people associated with being low-life, criminals, or delinquency
No.3 桐島 憂吾 (Kirishima Yugo) > High school dropout, a freelancer and does part time jobs. A person that Mikoto would never want to be like: (1) High school dropout, severely restricts one's social status and possibility of getting work/opportunities; (2) Freelancing/Part-time jobs, unstable source of income and Mikoto values normality/stability.
No.4 瀬尾 涼 (Seo Ryo) > University student with a strong sense of justice that patrolled the area in neighborhood watch activities. A person that may frustrate Mikoto because if Ryo really did have a strong sense of justice, then why wasn't Ryo doing anything to fix the injustices found in labor systems? Was Ryo selective in his justice, only seeing injustices in physical criminal acts? Or Ryo could have been one of those uptight wannabe-cop type of person that reports people for every little thing.
No.5 川島 真司 (Kawashima Shinji) > Corporate worker and father with 2 children but his life was centered around his work, often coming home late. Mikoto's mother divorced his father due to Mikoto's father being too busy at work, ergo not prioritizing home or family life. This victim may have spurred buried trauma and emotions/frustrations Mikoto has towards his father. Also, Shinji being a corporate worker spending most of his time at work may be a type of person that Mikoto does not want to be like: Someone whose life entirely consists of work, something that caused him so much suffering.
No.6 忽那 あゆみ (Kutsuna Ayumi) > High school student, influencer. Mikoto has a younger sister in high school who he likely was made to be a parent to. He may hold frustrations towards being parentified and that frustration manifested when he saw the high school girl. Not to mention, being an influencer puts the person who is an influencer at risk of harassment and, as a career, may be stigmatized as not a "real job" and an unstable one at that. Mikoto may hold these concerns towards someone that reminds him of his younger sister in the role of an older brother and parental figure.
No.7 井上 陽太 (Inoue Hinata) > Host club employee, trains at the gym and is an influencer. Host club workers represent an overarching issue with Japan's loneliness economy in which affection and human closeness are commodified, manufactured by Japan's systems, and profited from. Mikoto may be frustrated by the transactional idea of relationships that Japanese conventions groom unto its citizens. He may also be frustrated at the emphasis on aesthetics in Japanese society that pressures persons to fit to certain looks and to essentially become a body-product for consumption.
No.8 吉川 佐奈 (Yoshikawa Sana) > Lounge worker, single mother, leaves her child in the care of grandma. Mikoto may hold frustrations towards his own single mother who he was likely parentified by, and even subject to emotional incest of. There is also a high chance that his own mother wouldn't have been around much due to raising 2 kids on her own, in which single mothers already face hiring/job discrimination and social stigma that are also applied to her child(ren).
No.9 石橋 龍次郎 (Ishibashi Ryuujirou) > Director of a startup, frequent drinking, worsening health issues. Mikoto also wanted to make his own studio, which you could say is a startup, where he's the boss/director/lead of it according to a previous interrogation answer. At the same time, he may hold frustrations towards executives in companies for exploiting workers and seeing them as just another stepping stone to get money for the company especially since Ryuujirou is in charge of the corporate planning department which typically oversees a company's operational efficiency, strategy, finances etc. (Corporate planning could also include strategic planning of hiring low-to-no-experience workers/fresh graduates to pay them little but overwork them in order to save money for the company, and the likes.)
No. 10 日暮 夏子 (Higure Natsuko) > Widowed, mother, living alone, has a son in university. Mikoto's frustrations with his own single mother may have led to the death of Natsuko, however there is also the aspect of loneliness that needs to be considered. When Mikoto left for university, he left behind his single mother and then-middle schooler sister but it's clear that he still had responsibility to take care of them based on previous interrogation questions. Additionally, Mikoto being all alone in Tokyo parallels the loneliness of Natsuko.
No. 11 田村 快晴 (Tamura Kaisei) > Security company worker. Mikoto may have been subject to abuses by corporal/security/cops before just like how Es was instigating and abusing him in Trial 1 VD. Not to mention, he may be frustrated with those in authority who are unquestioned and permitted to do whatever it is they choose without consequence.
No. 12 名護 敬 (Nago Kei) > Design company employee, diligent and admired by colleagues. A design company employee who's diligent and admired by colleagues-- things Mikoto wished he was. Kei physically looks like Mikoto. If there's anything T3 has made abundantly explicit, it's that Mikoto hated himself so much which led to the suppression of the parts of himself that he does not like. Every part of himself (except for that part he tries to keep the same, frozen) has been created by the very systemic stratae that has destroyed him-- the normalized antagonistic systems that creates overstressed and dysfunctional persons. He harbors frustration to all those and, yet, he has become a personification of it. Thus, he kills "himself". He kills a person that is like himself-- someone he could've been if his environments/workplace/community had just been better and hadn't made him like this.
