I feel like at some point it's actually cruel to let these people stay in office. Like, I hate McConnell and everything he stands for, but seeing him there staring blankly into the camera, utterly baffled by a simple question just feels almost like elder abuse. I mean, he probably deserves it; I sincerely doubt he ever felt pity for, for example, poor senior citizens whose benefits he slashed. But even so, I get no pleasure out of this.
