i honestly think about this trailer a lot

i like how the world shrinks down to the island and it's 40-odd people. i like how the time warps. i like how, by working a timed contract, you can see the edge of the horizon, the bottom of the abyss. i like the cold. i like the rocky cliffs, the moonlight reflecting off the ocean, the moss n the rotting wood. i like how everyone has a role that makes them worth transporting here. i like the respect i earned. i like the physicality of the environs, the verticality, the slipperiness, how you have to focus on getting from point a to b. i like the urgency. i like the silence. i like the camraderie. i like the places you can slip away to to be truly alone. i like being exhausted at the end of a day. i came here because its the only way i know to make enuf money to do more than scrape by. im not sure ill come back after this season. i know that during the winter in my home city i was having a hard time finding anything to like at all. i want more from this life but i don't know how to get it without grinding out money in distant outposts like these. luckily i like being on the rim of civilization
