it's really difficult at times to be an adult woman who doesn't adhere to traditional values because younger people have very childish concerns (media consumption, clothing, recreational drug use, shallow liberal politics, cliques, presentation, identity) BUT since you're not married with babies you haven't really acquired grown up values either (wedding planning, relationships with the extended family, tolerating your spouse, childbirth, childrearing, mortgages, insurances) so you're half-stuck in a childish state yourself
