books are my strange addiction

how could you do this. haven't you done enough? you used me for leisure, i should have known it's a bluff

i finally got some days off and i am very happy about that. now i have time to study for my exams, catch up on reading and just relax for some days. the goal for january is to read as many books from stephen king as possible, because most of them are borrowed from a friend and it's about time to return them.

okay, this is the first post of the new year and to be honest, i was really looking forward to 2020. i tried to finish all my undone stuff until the end of 2019 but i failed miserably. but the new year is for new beginnings, new chances, experiences, goals and resolutions. my reaeing goal for this year is 50 books, even though i am unsure, if i can do more than 30 haha. i can feel it guys, 2020 is gonna be a good one.

okay i guess, thats it by now, i will keep you guys updated.

it is 11:16 p.m. and i feel the urgent need to chage my whole life, re-organise my bookshelf, buy a whole new eco-friendly wardrobe, cut off my hair and dye it grey. i don.t think that this is normal but i kinda like it. the only thing which holds me back is my bank account lol.

had a tough day at work today, but a little reading and a little more food always makes my mood better. Norse Mythology by Neil Gaiman is an awesome interpretations of the stories and myths of ancient gods. i really enjoyed reading it and i can only recommend it. (the cover was beautiful too, but i didn't take a picture of it, sorry lol)

we are halfway through 2019 and i really don't know how i should feel about that. many things happened but at the same time i don't feel like i did any process. i feel like i am not changing.

another bookish shot form lisbon. This room in the LXFactory is not just a normal library or a usual bookshop, this is an experience! i can only recommend a short visit during holiday in Portugal.

such a dream! i found this bookshop in a small edge of lisbon and i just did not want to leave it. the rooms were filled with art, old photographs and maps, statues and, of course, hundreds of books.

the final countdown has started..in 6 days i will hopefully finish school and be free and unemployed. adulting is exciting but it also freaks me out. what am i going to do with my life? idk

after written exams i need to focus on oral exams in biology, chemistry and english. there is so much to study but now after a few weeks i finally can see light at the end of the tunnel..

do you guys have a fav book genre?

after a whole week of final exams i am now waiting for the results. additionally i began studying for my final oral exams in english, biology and chemistry. to take a break from studying but also to improve my vocabulary in english i currently read Love, Simon and The Picture Of Dorian Gray.

that's what it looks like when i start reading many books at the same time. cannot decide, whether it was a good idea or not.

i don't get how people can enjoy their train or bus ride without a nice book by their side. finally finished this 750 pages long story about francis petrel. while he is rewriting his experiences in a psychiatric institution, the murderous angel appears again, just as many years ago..
