Nox and Nyks

“Sometimes I wonder where questions like this come from.  I have been, pretty content with the life I have had.  It’s been hard, much of it was spent alone.  And even more spent in a lie.  I have forgotten myself on more than one occasion.  Had quite a few jobs of all different facets.  If I had a twin hiding somewhere with everything I wanted in life.  He’d have somehow taken over my own life.  No matter what has happened, I’m where I want.  I’m who I want to be, and with who I want to be with.  I have enough money to live with, to do whatever dream comes to mind.  I am content where I am, no matter how I look on the outside.  And the important people know that.”

“Of course I hide objects.  What sort of silly question is that.  I hide, blades, bombs, tools, poisons.  I have hid myself and Nyks a few times.  I hide houses, because that’s what a safehouse is.  I have hidden tracks and bodies before.  It’s kind of what I do for a living.  I take it back, asking where I hide things is the silly question.  If I hide them, it’s so no one else but me will find them.  Not the kind to give away secrets without proper compensation.”
