So even after a SIX HOUR side quest to the ER this morning (where I didn't even see one silver fox...) I've still managed to get a good chunk of writing done today!
It's so nice to be back in the saddle again. :')
I'm currently about halfway done with the next chapter of Shotgun Blues, and then there will only be one more left to go and it'll be donzo! (i'm so excited; Roy doesn't get nearly enough love!)
I'm also working on a Charlie Reid fic that I'm about 3k deep into currently that's easily going to be 10k+ since I'm attempting to not do a whole new series and just get it all out in one big story instead. I've been jumping back and fourth between this and the Roy Goode story, so it'll get finished soon-ish. (I need him out of my system so I don't have to keep rewatching the same five episodes of Chicago PD...)
I need to write the last couple chapters for my shorter Jimmy Crystal fic and then that will be finished. This is less of a priority, but it's still on my radar. (some real freaky gore stuff is supposed to happen and while this doesn't bother me I do need to be in a certain headspace to channel that)
I was literally SO obsessed with my Pope story when I started it and then my brain just crapped out and I only ever got one chapter posted. :( I think I'll pick it back up once I've gotten the Charlie Reid fic finished. (though I'm real tempted to start Fire Country....at least I'll have a bit of time before Shawn's character shows up in season 2, because unlike Chicago PD it looks like it could actually be a good show)
Plus a bunch of other one-shots (or continuations of one-shots...) that I've had simmering on the back burner for awhile now. :) (And the Ready or Not AU, which is still a ways off but is NOT dead yet!)
