Xavier lay on Wednesday's bed, staring up at her with possibly the stupidest grin she had ever seen. Wednesday sat next to him, staring right back. His hair was out, swept across the bedding, and moonlight from the window lit up the dorm.

After a moment of staring and silence that if not interrupted could be mistaken for a staring competition, Wednesday glared at him.

"You disgust me at times," Wednesday remarked.

"Disgust?" Xavier frowned a little but tried to hold a smirk.

"Yes." She replied bluntly, doubling down.

He pouted. "Why?" He spoke, rolling onto his side, still making eye contact.

"You distract me. You pollute my thoughts and make me waste valuable time that could be spent on the case or my novel."

Xavier stared at Wednesday in disbelief before chuckling to himself, and to Wednesday's displeasure, his stupid grin returned.

"Y'know that doesn't sound like disgust. I think you’re a little backwards."

"I assure you it is.” She snapped back.

“Can’t stop thinking about me, actively seeks out seeing me instead of doing productive stuff…” Xavier said in a teasing tone.

“You’re twisting my words.” She but in, trying to defend herself.

“Paraphrasing, actually. Anyway, that’s not disgust, I think that you're lovestruck.” Xavier's smirk widened as he spoke the last clause of his statement. “Raven turned lovebird, how poetic.”

Wednesday blinked in surprise that Xavier would even attempt to utter that word in relation to her. She would rather be burned at the stake than admit she loved a boy.

“I do not love you. I loathe you less than everything else.”

“Mmmh…yes big difference.” Xavier held his grin and teasing sarcastic tone.

Xavier: How do I put this delicately? You’re a horrible person and I hate you.

Weems: How about we frame our statement with “When you do this, it makes me feel this”?

i made a post like this on my main account wayyyyy back in 2019, but I thought this blog would be a better fit for the sequel 

-I see a lot of people always write in fics about Adrien loving when Mari runs her fingers through his hair, and while yes, I heavily agree, I like to think the inverse is true too. Sometimes when LB is noticeably stressed, Chat will pull her pigtails out and run his claws against her scalp and it’s the ultimate headache cure for her. When she has panic attacks, or is just letting her anxiety get the best of her, he can slide his hands up and under her shirt to trace circles on her back and similarly, it helps steady her. 

-feligami prefer espresso, but adrinette prefer chai(usually dirty chai). so random. but it’s TOTALLY canon idc. 

-I just love Adrinette having a sweet tooth. Pastries for breakfast every morning. A dessert martini after dinner every night while they cuddle. Sometimes when Adrien sees a bowl of free candy he pockets 2 and brings them to her as a tiny baby surprise and the way her eyes light up and the kisses he receives as a reward are his lifeblood. 

-They also love doing things together. completely mundane things that they don’t have to do together either, but they just want to because they like using teamwork, it feels natural. Cooking breakfast together, even if it’s just one of them cutting something while the other does the rest of the work. Folding clothes together which devolves into a playfight where they’re launching underwear and spare socks at each other. showers together ofc(shameless plug: read my silly little one shot here!!!). having an errand to run but waiting for the other to get home because they just want to do it with the other’s presence there.  

-Marinette is known as Chat Noir’s biggest fan amongst friends and even acquaintances. She will defend him to the ends of the earth and has several Chat Noir t-shirts she loves to sleep in. She will openly tell anyone that he is the best hero of Paris and one time when someone makes a joke like “you must be Ladybug with how much you love him” her response is along the lines of “No, Ladybug doesn’t think he’s funny. I think he’s HILARIOUS.” Adrien’s always standing in the corner when she goes on one of these rants like :,) that’s his girl FR!!!!!!!! 

-Honestly she just is so proud of him in general and goes out of her way to praise him all the time once they’re post-reveal. She’ll never ever miss a fencing match, and win or lose she’s still going to cook him dinner and give him a nice long shoulder rub once they get home. She’ll go out of her way to write him a little love note and hide it in his car or his desk for him to find as a sweet surprise later. Once she realizes the full scope of how f’d up his life has been, she just wants to be the ultimate Adrichat supporter and make sure he knows that she will be there to love, praise and be there for him unconditionally. 

-they often don’t have to drive, but when they do Adrien prefers to be in the driver's seat. (he likes control over his life bc… well we all know why) Marinette is usually the queen of giving directions anyway so it works. She often only drives if Adrien is dead tired, so he can take a nap curled up in the passenger seat. 

-Marinette can literally never ever say that she likes/wants something in front of Adrien. because he has no concept of money from growing up rich and he’s going to buy it for her immediately without questioning it. One time they’re at the fabric store picking up one of her orders and she lingers too long on a bolt of fabric, clearly very interested in it and he just takes the whole thing to the counter to buy it and she yells at him LMFAO. he is for sure the king of showering her with gifts she didn’t even ask for in the first place 

-And oddly enough, on the other end of the previous point Adrien hates receiving non-handmade gifts from her because “I could have just bought it myself”. Marinette is so fed up with this that at one point she’s just like “LET ME GET NICE THINGS FOR YOU WHEN I THINK OF YOU!!!! YOU DESERVE THE WORLD AND MORE YOU IDIOT!!!!!!” ((Adrien had everything he could ever ask for growing up but that was from his asshole abusive father so his love language(receiving, not giving) is DEFINITELY more acts of service, praise and physical touch.)) 

-before they’re living together, they have an entire set of codes for texting where and when they want to meet somewhere as LB&CN, and a lot of their places are often related to something specific. Oh, Marinette wants to meet at the arc de triomphe? she’s pissed as hell about something and wants to rant where it’s less likely civilians will overhear bc of all the cars. Let’s meet at the louvre 6:30pm? we’re going to have a date where we go to that thai place that gives us free food and then we’re gonna get ice cream after. notre dame 8:30pm? bring your switch and a blanket cause we’re gonna cuddle up and have a late night hang out. 

-a lot of times(again, before they’re living together) when one of them is upset the other will crawl in through their window and just be like “go for a run with me? :)” and it usually works in helping them sort their thoughts out. idk i love the idea that Adrien will be upset sometimes but also not want to talk about it and Ladybug just shows up like “come catch me then” and ofc he ends up running after her and usually by the end he’s feeling much better and wants to sit and talk with her. they both have problems processing feelings bc of their immense superhero trauma but they just wanna be there for each other however they can :( 

-they also have a terrible mutual habit of wanting to take naps on each other. It's a multiple-times-a-week occurence for one of them to sneak into the other’s bedroom with the sole purpose of “i have the next hour free and I’m going to sleep on you now” which the other usually begrudgingly is like “fine >:(“ but in reality they love it. Personal space is already barely a thing for ladynoir so when they find out they’re in love all they want to do is touch like… constantly. Their presence is each other’s safe space 

-Adrien becomes double obsessed(like almost physically impossibly obsessed) when Mari wears red. similarly, Mari goes >:) mode when she sees him in black 

-When Maribug flirts with Chat, she has a habit of flicking or jingling the bell around his neck. This drives him insane (in the best way) sometimes when she’s feeling extra flirty she’ll even pull the zipper down a little and start kissing his neck and just watch him melt into a puddle of flusteredness >:) 

-Adrien finds out that he’s actually pretty good at cooking once they move in? He’s literally never had to do it in his life before but Marinette is a very good teacher and he picks it up really fast so he usually ends up cooking dinner for them. It also helps when his reward is many, many kisses and thank yous and praises from the love of his life each night. He will always respond well to her praise lol 

-Chat replaces the flowers that are in a vase on Marinette’s rooftop balcony every week. I love Ladybug/Cat tendencies even outside of the suits, and one of those is that Marinette looovveeesss flowers. He usually works with a local florist to create her a custom bouquet weekly bc he’s just the biggest sap in the world and he loves her!!!!
