                  “I’m..I’m trying to role-play,” Asori said. Her dark eyes were now glossy with a sort of sadness and disappointment. She had wanted to impress Noctis with her new wig, her black, skin-tight leather dress, and dirty talk, but it just wasn’t working. Maybe Noctis just wasn’t into it. “Just roll with it, please? For me? I worked really hard to impress you...”

                 Torin had a difficult time believing that. Amelia was a beautiful young women, so the idea of her never being noticed felt so unrealistic. All the same, he felt a swelling of pride within his own chest as he handed her his rose, knowing he was the first. “Then I am honored to be your first Valentine,” he said, smiling down at her. “I love you.”

                     “You mean that time of year where I spoil you rotten?” Chryseis inquired, as she popped a chocolate into her mouth. At the moment, she was making non-bake chocolate with little Herian on her hip, who was gnawing on her hair. “I’ve got quite a bit of surprises in store for you, my lovely pink haired princess. You’re going to love it. I hope, anyway.”

                 Orion’s heart fluttered. “I think a hand-knit sweater with your name embroidered into it is a beautiful gift,” he said, tucking his hands deeper into his pockets. He had stayed up all night knitting that for her, and his sore fingers were the evidence of that. “I don’t see why that would be stalker-ish...it’s more romantic.”

                 “ You look stunning, ” Torin said, his yellow eyes brushing across her form. “ You look beyond that. You look ravishing. ” He took a step forward as to catch her waist in his hand, and cradle her cheek with his other hand. “ I am so happy for your new clothes. ”
