We’d love to have you! It depends on a couple of things, really. 

If your character is unaffiliated then they could potentially be anywhere on the map, including territories where some factions may be stationed. If your character is with a faction then they could be sticking with their group or they could be branching out with a couple of other members to find further resources, ideas for camps etc. With the latter, you should keep in mind that travelling huge distances from your character’s faction probably isn’t the best idea, if they’re planning on getting back to them within a reasonable amount of time.

Anastasiya Lebedeva is Emiliya’s younger sister. They grew up together with devout Orthodox Christian parents who tried to force their beliefs on their children. Whilst these beliefs did not stick with Emiliya, it is up to you whether or not Anastasiya believed in them. Growing up the girls were extremely close, they viewed each other as close confidants and kept very few secrets from one another. This all changed when Emiliya turned sixteen and left the family to pursue modelling.

When Emiliya left for Moscow, she attempted to send letters home to the family to keep in contact with them but received nothing back from them. How Anastasiya reacted to Emiliya leaving is up to you – whether she was bitter and jealous, proud of her sister, confused or full of anger because she’d been left behind is for you to decide. Despite how hard she may have tried to keep in contact, the day she left her family behind was the last time Emiliya spoke to her family which leaves a fair bit in Anastasiya’s back story open for interpretation.

Yes, you can! But if you’re applying for a character that someone has already applied for, it might be worthwhile for you to think about a secondary label, just in case we decide to go with the other application for the canon but still like your character and want them in the roleplay.

This character’s forename is Katrina and she met Otto in a dive bar in 1987. They hit it off straight away but being young, dumb, and in love they made some bad decisions along the way. Two months after meeting, Katrina was pregnant and Otto was estranged from his family. Loving the child inside Katrina, Otto did his best to support her. He got three jobs and together they rented a two bedroom apartment. Katrina’s life before meeting him and around this time has purposely been left vague for you to make her your own and craft her however you choose.

Their daughter, Evony Falkenrath, was born in 1988 and she couldn’t have been more loved by the two. Katrina crumbled under the pressure of having a new born and a partner who worked long hours. Sleepless nights pushed Otto and Katrina apart not because of Evony, because Katrina’s dreams were haunted with nightmares. She couldn’t leave the house. She didn’t want Otto to leave either and he didn’t want Evony left in the care of an unstable mother. Katrina would see red at Otto for asking how she was, at Evony for crying at raised voices, at herself for the way she was. Glasses started smashing, chairs were thrown, neighbours complained. It was when they got a warning that Evony would be placed in custody for her own safety that Otto knew he had to do something. Despite how much he loved her and the guilt that would stay with him, he had Katrina taken away. He blamed himself for what happened between them, for Katrina’s decent into darkness. Otto never saw her again and the rest of Katrina’s history is free to be decided as is the true reason for what happened. There is always more than one side to a story and everything happening so fast between them that Otto may never have known the real Katrina. Her story, as of yet, is untold.

We’re a heavily player-driven roleplay, and want to leave as much room for player interpretation and innovation as we can!
