I'm a sucka for a good skyscraper (although with so many massive buildings going up now when does the term skyscraper not apply, I'll look into that).

The course sounds excellent to. Having the ability to explore your own ideas and agendas, of course suiting the project brief (or not), will allow any student to become the kind of Architect they want to be rather than just whats' crammed down your throat from the university you've chosen.

But before I get to go and study I need to find a new flat, the hunt has begun, and I need to save some money for a kitten. The deal with the girlfriend is if I go to CAT she gets a cat. Not any old cat but a Ragdoll x something. This is because their pretty chilled out and would make a good indoor cat, I'm not sure Kim would like picking up dead mice and birds brought to us as gifts. This does mean that the new flat has to be cat friendly and the landlord has to allow pets but there's not to many of those around.

The best news of all is that my new business with my dad and brother has kicked off. We have one contract signed for some building maintenance works and one to be signed next week for a loft conversion with others in the pipeline.
