I ranted about how people refuse to draw a fem-Abraham Lincoln with Abraham Lincoln features
They remove his square jaw, his big nose, his ears, his wrinkles and even his fucking mole in order to make a conventionally attractive woman that looks nothing like Abraham Lincoln
Well it's an issue all over the historical fandom and I forgot to mention that
I would see art of a conventionally attractive woman next to Robespierre and go "oh nice it must be an oc / someone i don't know" and it's just fem-Camille Desmoulins... Desmoulins but no tall hooked nose is not Desmoulins I'm sorry
Or I'll see art of a pretty ginger lady with the caption "woman Hamilton", that's not Hamilton if she doesn't have the right nose guys
I would say it's incompetence, lack of expertise of knowledge how to make their features... But alot of times it's just a lack of wanting to make them bc they have no problem drawing these features on men 🙃
