Happy 27!

This year is bound to be great with all the lovely wishes for happiness, love, health and all the good things <3

I have chosen JOY as my theme for this year. I would like to focus more on the activities that bring enjoyment to the everyday and enjoy the process as much as the result. I would like to follow my intuition towards the things that are fun and feel good, and trust this process will take me on great adventures.

To complete the experience of this crazy year, I also got a lockdown birthday. I made it extra glamorous with this beautiful flow red dress from Asos Design, and had fun with my sister during my wfh lunch break snapping the birthday photo.. and thanks to my sister for her endless patience until we got it right!

Feeling beautiful and connected for joy and peace

First of all, how are you? No really, how are you feeling?

In London we have just come out of Lockdown 2. While I am lucky that my work has been continuing from home, I have also felt isolated and disconnected. I am very social, and I really crave going out and seeing lots of friends and new friends! We need to take care of ourselves and each other.

My respite has been twofolds, clothes and nature. What better combination? Venturing into nature and really feeling connected to the natural processes, and reminding myself that I am part of this ecosystem. It brings me so much joy and peace to admire and appreciate the wonderful plants and animals. Thanks to my sister for pulling me away from desk and gifting me the most fun lunch break.

I am not the most practical dresser, I know! BUT I felt cute and on top of the world. Feeling snug in my new favourite and actually very warm jacket from Zara, and my favouite bag from back home.

I can definitely recommend a walk in nature to ease the pandemic blues. Make sure to dress well, it’s cold these days <3

I have decided to treat myself to a surprise box from #Birchbox - this is the March box. Spending time on skincare and makeup is the perfect way to start my day. With the surprise content, it was really fun to try new products I might not have tried otherwise.

My favourite from this box is definitely the Balance Me Vitamin C repair serum! It works absolute wonders!

I also really enjoyed the soothing Daily Concepts Charcoal sponge and elegant Forgive Me Suzie shimmering liquid eyeshadow.

I am already hyped to try the April box!
