“I see you’re gonna be a bitch about it,” he definitely didn’t want to move, lifting a glass of water was enough of the exercise and he was ready to call it a day. “Fifth shot... was far too late in the game, I’m not myself unless I fully commit to it,” and then always regretted the next morning, wishing he could bash his head against the table, “You can play that game on your own,” he finally gave up supporting his head and let it rest on the table.

And when she kisses him, she does so softly, almost as if she was afraid to insult him with the little peck. It always feels like she’s stealing peace away for herself whenever their lips meet and she didn’t want to ever get used to the feeling. “If I could bother you for a moment... I wanted to take you somewhere,” until now, it’s only been him taking her places, showing her the world as he knew it. It was time she did something for him. 

“Oh, mister nutritionist, please teach me your ways,” Damin sat on the arm of the couch to keep some distance from him, to make sure he would not try to distract her. With her bottom lip slightly pushed out, she tilted his head at him, “but I’m still pretty sure that a dessert comes after a dinner. Which...” she paused, raising her finger in the air before speaking again, “... makes me a reward for good boys only.”

She’s still a little hesitant to let him go, even after his reassurance. She knew little about lifejackets and she knew one couldn’t always trust human inventions and while she moved away a little out of respect for his personal space, she still remained close enough to catch him, should the lifejacket deceive him. “Notes...” Nessie smiled apologetically, pulling one of the soaked pages out of the water. One look at it and it was clear he wasn’t going to be able to use it. “Uh, I guess I’ll have to make it up for you. Luckily, I know a lot about this place. I can tell you whatever you want.” her smile grew bigger, “I’m Nessie, by the way.”
