I’m starting to try to shift my thinking. I need to be kind to myself. I need to forgive my inner child for the mistakes she made due to reaction to trauma. I don’t have to be stuck in this loop. I can become anyone I want to be. I don’t have to let my thoughts and memories hold me back.

So many times I have died alone in my room
